Durgama Takeover

We regret to inform Nomad high command of the unprovoked aggression by Haqislam’s Ramah Taskforce. While we can not be sure of their motives, we believe they were attempting to take control of the railgun firing systems to their own ends in violation of the cease fire. Incident report below:

0800:
Mixed Nomad unit Epsilon began investigating a loss of hull integrity in a portion of the fire control systems expecting Xeno resistance. Arriving at the location no incursion was found, though a large blast hole was discovered in the far corner of a large storeroom. Additionally, multiple coolant containment breaches were found.

Hostilities began after a morlock conscript was sent to investigate. Haqislam opened fire unprovoked, killing the morlock. This revealed their means of ingress. Ramah had mass driven a spider tank into the side of Raveneye station attempting to hide the action while we were distracted with the xeno threat.

Thinking quickly, the attached Tunguska Heckler unit bravely ran into fire to attempt to control the threat, but was foiled by the mass amount of remotes that had followed the beast inside. Pinned down and alone, the unit WAS able to distract the invaders long enough for the Moran teams and puppettactica to begin deploying soft defenses. To note, the commando squad supplied from Bakunin appears to be misfunctioning and easily distracted. They ran directly into an enemy flame thrower for seemingly no real purpose. It may be necessary to discuss the issue with the designers. The flamethrower was dealt with successfully via the deployed crazykoalas.

0805:
At this point Ramah was able to regain the offensive. The commando squad was overwhelmed by the spider tank and its supporting elements. The soft defenses did hold and the tank was able to be held in a far corner of the room. Commendations are in order for the Heckler, though wounded in the act, he was able to deploy his payload and severely impact enemy communications.

0810:
The Nomad counter offensive began focusing on the Szalamandra. Multiple enemy casualties confirmed and the tag was able to position itself optimally to provide covering fire for all nomad units. Elements of note removed: Ghulam missle launcher team, Namurr, Naffatun, and two remotes supporting the spider tank. The tank itself was unable to be wounded after multiple attempts. One of the attached hackers did sucesfully manage to reinforce the soft defenses via additional repeater nets as well.

To note, it may be necessary to inform combined Nomad forces that attempts to medical evac chimera commandos is not sanctioned. One of the attached Morans ran under fire to attempt to drag the chimera to safety before realizing that said unit was too heavy to move. This left said unit pinned down without support. While they did survive, disciplinary action may be needed.

0815:
One of the enemy attached mercenaries attempted to rush the nomad flank, they appeared to have brought antipode elements with them. This was a mistake as said antipode seems to have mistaken a pitcher for one of the puppets that had been assigned to the flanks. It did not last long.

Assigned the puppettactica squad to the flanks was the correct decision as the Ramah began to retake the initiative. They attempted to break our flanks via the spider tank after the mercenary elements died to our soft defenses. Fortuitously, the Ramah means of ingress was their downfall. The broken coolant had begun to aerosolize causing extreme loss of visibility. The puppets were able to successfully perform a delaying action and drive it back with only minor wounds. The tank had been painted for follow up artillery, but this was dealt with by yet more mercenary elements.

0820:
The Szalamandra unit was able to remove a large chunk of the enemy forces, but, yet again, was unable to wound the enemy tank nor was it able to push it back. The remaining moran element did leave his post in order to attempt to medically evac the Heckler that had sacrificed himself to delay the enemy, He was successful but was pinned down and unable to retreat to safety. Additional enemy reinforcements did deploy and, unfortunately, did remove the attached Interventor support unit via trinity. Additional defenses will be needed against these elements in the future.

0825:
The enemy spider tank was finally wounded by the puppets as it pushed down our flank again. This time, however, it did break through and the Szalamandra was unable to repel. The puppets, supporting transductor units, and the last hacking element were all KIA. The tank was then able to break into our midline where the moran and injured hecker had been taking cover. Seeing them, the tank burned them alive.

0830:
Ramah units fell back having been unable to secure whatever it was they came for. Nomad unit Epsilon suffered extreme casualties and requests reinforcement. The aerosolized coolant proved extremely effective is disrupting enemy fire, it may be worth investigating for possible military applications.

We would also like to formally accuse the Ramah elements of warcrimes at this time for the burning of units attempting to give medical aid.
