Following the incident of the Ariadnian contingent discovering our cache of stimulants we have begun field tests of using them on captured antipodes.
Combat field test below:
Having located more Haq elements hiding in the supplies module, a task force was put together to quickly determine the combat effectiveness of hyper stimulated antipodes.
The drugged antipode performed beyond expectations. IT was able to run unopposed straight through the enemy lines. Confirmed kills include an enemy sniper, enemy doctor, and enemy line troop. Additionally, some of the module infrastructure was destroyed.
The stimulants appear to reduce life expectancy of those exposed. Before the enemy field command could be eaten, the antipode suffered a heart attack and died.
It appears at this point that the testing team had been compromised by Haq agents, Two of the team revealed themselves to be working for the enemy.
One of the antipode handlers was the first casualty. Shot by surprise, there was nothing anyone could do. It appears he had been in the way, the true goal was the team lead. The second traitor attempted his assassination, but was foiled by the lead's body armor.
Sadly, the attached Raveneye supporting element was lost in the encounter. Hidden camouflaged, an enemy panzerfaust was able to destroy the observer's post he had been stationed on.
A single paratrooper was observed attempting to combat drop into our backlines. Something must have gone wrong as it seemed to careen off course and into a support column. Perhaps they are not prepared for orbital operations?
The remaining antipode handler ran under fire to try to save the team leader. The first was able to be quickly subdued in a volley of combi fire. Sadly the handler did not survive his assault on the second impersonator. He took a panzerfaust to the back as he heroically saved the team leader.
Luckily at this point, the only enemy elements remaining were the now out-of-ammo panzerfaust user and the paratrooper of arguable competence.
With no enemy presence of note, the last remaining antipode handler was able to move forward to recover some needed test data.
Enemy paratooper fled, presumably to inform Haw high command of the failure.
Enemy panzer troop was able to be successfully captured.
It is the opinion of the stimulant team that the Haq elements may be trying to steal our research for their own purposes. We suggest immediate checks on all personnel to oust any additional impersonators.
Good pictures and an interesting table.
Decent report 🙂
Go go bromads!
