The air was heavy with a mix of dust and fuel as the Morats pushed toward the heart of the sprawling industrial complex. There would be no give in the defenders, there was no where left for them to fall back to. This was good it would be a decisive and final fight. Kornak ordered the Daturazi forward to take out a priority target and to draw the humans out of their positions. The Bultrak’s gun made its distinctive whine followed by a short staccato burst as it sent hypervelocity rounds to neutralise targets of opportunity.

There was a super heavy infantry, that was identified as a Yan Huo, keeping one half of his force pinned. Kornak issued an order to the Bultrak and Raicho to work together to bring it down. Moments later Kornak turned to shield his face as explosions erupted around the Raicho. He didn’t need the tactical overlay to see that it the hit had caused severe damage to the TAG but it was still in the fight. The Raicho’s distraction had allowed the Bultrak to get a clear shot and neutralise the threat.

Warning icons were flashing across Kornak’s HUD as Yu Jing TAGs advanced to try and push the Morats back. There were screams from above him as one of his protection detail fell to a hail of fire. The pilot of the human TAG then charged into the teeth of the Kornak’s force. It was a brave manoeuvre but opened the armoured suit up to fire from numerous angles. Some of those shots got through as the Guija charged into the Bultrak seeking to tear it apart. On the other flank the light Yu Jing TAG had killed the Daturazi and was closing in on the Zerat. Kornak added his own shots to attempts to bring the second TAG down, but the fuel clinging to its carapace proved its undoing as the Zerat’s flamethrower cooked the TAG frying critical electronics.

There were only a few Yu Jing icons showing on Kornak’s tactical map now. So as the Bultrak and Guija wrestled the Raicho swept forward systematically removing them until only the enemy TAG remained. Kornak saluted his enemy as it finally succumbed and fell to the ground with its armour rent and fury spent.
