After finding success on the field of battle against Haqqislam, Ar’reman’ii received a communication from EI High command. His small force was to redeploy immediately to deal with a massive threat discovered on the Raveneye Station. Within the Bow, Greif Operator Rad-manii’esh had discovered a Rogue AI being let loose into the network with the intention of being beamed to the surface networks. This renegade AI had but a single purpose: to cause havoc and destruction to the EI’s efforts to locate the Penny Arcade.
All efforts had to be made to identify, to isolate, and destroy the Rogue AI.

Not only would Ar’reman’iis small contingent be lifted to perform this special operation, but EI High Command also issued orders to redeploy three key members of the fight for transcendence. Bit and her companion bot KISS would be sent in to help clear the way and gain access to the appropriate servers. The legendary Nourkius was equipped with additional destructive hacking programs and sent with the singular goal. Destroy the servers providing housing for this abomination of an AI. And Finally, the EI has sent an Aspect directly to oversee this critical battle, in the form of its most powerful and terror-inspiring tool, the Avatar.

Lieutenant Creeno of the Neoterra Capiline Army looked down at the data pad. A brief moment of concern washed over him. The task was simple, defend some servers. And remove the ability for the aggressors to capture the data they contained. The concern came from the report that a massive impact had hit the bow of Raveneye station. There was no explosion. The information is updated in real-time. There was a massive metal object that the CA had sent. This was no simple TAG. This was the most feared Warmachine that could be brought to bear.

This would be Creeno’s second combat command, and he was feeling nervous; those feelings quickly dissipated and were replaced with confidence as the fireteam that had been assigned to him began to take their position. One of the greatest sharpshooters Creeno had ever worked with, Bolt First Class Sidona prepped her weapon and gave a smile he knew meant she was looking forward to the upcoming conflict. The team is led by Shona Carono, a more than capable if not a little ambitious warrior. As Creeno glanced to his left, he saw Cmr Dino, a Hexa who had already been on Raveneye and had faced the Morat assault, disappear without a trace, assumedly to take his overwatch position. With all his troops and bots in place, Creeno bunked down to command from his safe position. Today would be a long day….

With the mighty Evolved Intelligence in command, the initiative was taken by the EI to be the first to assault. This put the NCA army into a defensive posture. With the Avatar on the left flank, warbands spread across the board, and the Mighty Norkius leading the way up the middle, the Combined army began its dance of death.
First and foremost 2 of the 3 Thighas and the Gaki screamed forward with reckless abandon (Green) and did not engage. The Rightmost creature managed to pin down a Locust in a corner, leaving it with the fear of death, should it activate in the active turn.
The Caliban (White) on the right flank set out on its mission: Identity which server housed the target of the operation. It moved forward, activated a console in the middle of the engagement area, and successfully identified that the server on the CA left flank currently had the Rouge AI housed. The Target was identified. The mission could now progress. The Caliban retreated slightly after rigging the console to blow, it did not want the NCA troopers finding our which of the CA servers housed the programs needed to destroy the AI. The Combined army brought 3 servers of their own the Comms room, with one of them containing the computing power that fueled the Data Erasure program that Nourkius was equipped with. Defending these servers was paramount to success. Once the Caliban was out of sight of the flash pulse bot that had been harmlessly trying to interrupt its work, the Caliban activated his camo and disappeared from the NCA’s sensors.

The Mighty Avatar (Red) which had remained silent durning the initial setup of the battlefield, Roared to life, with the fury of a thousand dying stars. No attempt was made to conceal the raw power that the Aspect brought to bear. Now active, it moved out of total cover, laying down a hail of bullets, rendering a Peacemaker inert, and dropping a Flashbulse bot to its robotic knees.

The way was now clear for Bit and Kiss (Purple) to litter the area around the second console with pitchers, and two of them landed. Once their task was complete, they activated their cybermasks, and also disappeared from the Scopes of the NCA. With Pitchers in place, and within the operational zone of a Locust Hacker, Nourkious (Blue) moved forward slightly, and activated his customized hacking device, sending murderous ramage into the mind of the locust. While the human was able to absorb the first blast of trinity, the onslaught of his mind continued and soon the lifeless corpse dropped to the ground. Nourkius advanced a bit more, and also activated his cybermask. The threats on scanners were quickly disappearing for the NCA targeting systems.
Lastly, a Liberto Freedom Figher moved up in Camo to better cover the second console with his shotgun.

While a few robots had been dropped down, this was no issue for the NCA. Creeno’s first order of business was to command Shona’s Bolts team to move up (Red), with their Machinist, who quickly raised all of the casualties from the first wave of Combined Army bullets. With the Peacemaker and its Aux (Blue) bot back in action, they moved forward to deal with the pile of repeaters that Bit and Kiss and deployed. This was an easy task and managed to get the Liberto in the crossfire. While the flames and smoke filled the air, the agility of the Liberto allowed him to dodge out of the inferno and into close combat with the Peacemaker that was trying to end his existence. The task was successful in removing a shock mine, as well as the two repeaters. The efficacy of the NCA tactics began to pay off. Creeno felt like he was gaining some breathing room.
The Fireteam continued to round a corner and discovered that the Citizen hiding on the other side of MegaBytes, the local eatery, was in fact the Greif Operator who had discovered what agents of Panoceana were up to in the first place. She was effectively removed with the ferocity of Shona's sword and perished without even a last breath.
The way to the Console was now clear. Creeno who was bunked down in a building ordered the fireteam to advance. The mission was clear, and the program needed to be stopped before the forces of the Combined Army could reach the server. As the fireteam advanced, the Liberto dodged out of combat with the robot, as the Peacemaker had called its Aux Bot in to get an advantage in numbers. The Liberto ended up back in a corner near the console. Shotgun poised to let loose led. This problem needed to be solved, and Shona decided to unleash a volley of SMG rounds, the Freedom fighter began dropping mines in response, as the SMG rounds pelted the corner of the building that was providing a meager amount of cover. A second assault on the Liberto was about to begin, so he returned fire this time, and with his mine detonating and his shotgun roaring, the smoke cleared,m as Shona stared at his corpse, unhurt, and undeterred. Unfortunately for her team, the Liberto had bought just enough time for the NCA to have to retreat from the console.
The Forces of NCA were back to full strength, aside from the loss of the Locust Hacker, and had advanced toward their object, removing a few enemies along the way.

Inspired by the presence of true greatness, the Taigha on the left flank ran full tilt into a Drone bot that was providing both repeater coverage, and its disabling weapon trained on the server that was now known to be the host of the Weaponized AI. While the bot managed to immobilize the furious critter, it was not without sacrifice as the servos of the bot ground to a halt, and the last light was extinguished on its panels.

Undaunted by the push of the NCA, the Aspect itself took matters into its own hands. First peering out, to re-cripple the Dronebot, then pushing out further, the renowned Bolt armed with a muti-sniper rifle drew a bead on the Terror of the EI. Rounds were exchanged, led and steel riping into the surrounding buildings and armor. More volleys ensued, with the bolt finally succumbing to her wounds. With the sniper thread dealt with, the roar of the gigantic weapon of the Avatar found a new target with the reanimated peacemaker. This would spell the end of that particular nuisance.
Nourkius, with his cyber mask still engaged, looks at his handheld scanner. Another hacker was standing within range of his fearsome rage. He dialed in the signal and unleashed a volley of mind-destroying hell directly into the Bolt Hacker’s hardware. With a silent fall, the latest victim of Noukius slumped against the barricade that was providing total cover from the Avatar, but not the destructive focus of Quantronic Combat. His screen flashed with a command from the EI. It simply said Datascan and had a set of coordinates. He scanned and downloaded all of the data on Shona Carano with a quick activation. Filled with satisfaction, Nourkius reactivated his Cyber mask and began a full-speed run for the left flank. He knew what must be done, and nothing would stop him. He rounded the buildings and got within striking distance of the Server. It took a lot of attempts to get the signals to harmonize, but once they were attuned, the server vibrated, shuddered, and exploded. The main objective had been completed. However, the brave soldiers of The NCA were about to mount their counter-offensive.

Despite the hard truth that had to be swallowed, Lieutenant Creeno knew that while their main goal had been compromised, he was getting live intel that the forces of evil had copied over the core files from the server. Priorities often shift on the fly and today would be no different. The commands were issued, and the Fireteam of Bolts would have to access the data, even without their hacker to lead the way. First, that Avatar that was on overwatch needed to be dealt with. Creeno plugged in the commands into his comlog and directed the Clipper Dronebot to fire missiles at the Avatar in an attempt to push it back. Unforntuanly the war machine outgunned the simple bot and scored a direct hit on the missile bot rendering it useless.
Out of nowhere, Spitfire round rained down from atop the MegaBytes eatery directly at the Avatar. The source of the rounds was a Hexa (Green) who had been perfectly hidden by skill and technology. Unfortunately, the rounds did nothing to the armor plating of the monster. The shots pinged off with a disheartening sound.
With a sigh, Creeno got on his com, and told Shona we still needed that data. She knew what this meant. Putting someone directly in the line of fire with the killing machine. Sgt Franoi edged his way closer to the downed bolt sniper, fired off a medkit from range, and successfully brought her back to her feet. With this simple act, the atmosphere changed. They might be able to bring that monstrosity down yet.
The sniper took aim (Red), and all three shots found their target, but the might of the armor plating was too much for the AP rounds to penetrate. But this was a success as the Avatar moved back into cover and out of the line of fire. Seeing this, Creeno barked the orders, the team needed to advance and get the data needed from the console. Lafayette, the Machinist attached to the team, ran forward with the speed he didn't know he possessed, made it safely to the console, and amazed himself, Shona, and Creeno by quickly and efficiently locating the data in the center of the three servers that the Combined Army brought to the field of battle with them. Lafayette retreated behind the cover where his team waited for him. Time was running out, and Shona (Purple) made the bold choice to leave her team and head straight forward into the fray; as she rounded the first corner, a blur of blue and purple filled her vision; “This damned Caliban is still here…” she thought to herself as she charged directly at the blur, swinging her mighty sword with the vengeance of her fallen comrades in her eyes.
At the same time, the Aux Bots (White) that were under the command of Creeno whipped around the corner to engage with the Monster that was destroying servers. Nourkius dodged the attack and was now staring down the mobile flamethrower. In a similar move, the other aux bot and controller in the other building moved to try and intercept the wild creature known as a ‘Gaki’.

The Gaki berserked forward in a fury directly at the Fugazi in front of it. The Aux bot rained fire at the approach, the Auxillia loosed rounds from his combi rifle, which was enough to kill the creature outright, but not before it had its need for destruction filled with the dronebot’s destruction.
The Aspect had enough of this back and forth and began a personal assault. Moving from its cover, directly for the cover that was hiding the fireteam, the Aspect of the EI reached its Sepsiter around the corner and covered the fireteam with its effect. The Machinist was first to fall to the will of the EI and engaged the Bolt Sniper who had resisted the effects, with a pistol duel. Neither fell to the shots that rang out. The Sepsiter was then turned on the Hexa on top of the food venue, and his will was no match for that of the raw power of the EI. Finally, the same weapon was turned on the Paramedic who also gave in and joined the ranks of the Avatar's minions. With Shona locked in combat, the Avatar set itself up a suppressive firing position and took aim at its prey.
In a show of subservience, the Hexa turned its spitfire on the Auxbot that was holding Nourkius in a standoff. This freed up the Legendary Uber-Hacker to advance on another server, destroying it with his newest upgrade to his hacking device.

Shona, quickly dispatched the Caliban she was battling and managed to suffer non-life threatening injuries from the hail of Machine Gun fire from the Avatar. She was able to get around a corner, only to end up listening to the horrors she could on her coms device. She ripped the earpiece out, realizing she was the last hope. With speed and caution, she ran through the hail of gunfire and managed to run through the maze of the walled garden, and found herself with only moments to spare and with a great last effort, rammed her blade into the server containing the stolen information about the rogue AI. She was now surrounded by flamethrowers, flash pulses, and an Avatar that had begun to stalk her. Deciding to cut their losses and not lose any more brave Neoterrains, Creeno ordered the retreat.
