Durgama Takeover

Despite the latest failure to protect the neosteelworks, Imperial Intelligence troops were tasked with infiltrating and taking over part of the Cameliard guard post. This portion of the guard post was protected by an O-12 battle group led by Hector himself. Apparently, the glorious commander was misinformed by PanO Command of his misconduct. The objective of the ISS advance was to gain control of the armory and arsenals with minimal casualties on either side of the conflict.

Our heroic Hsien led the initial assault with his strike team, which consisted of a Zhanying hacker and a security unit from the neosteelworks. The hacker opened the door of the armory with ease, and the CSU attempted to retrieve some equipment from the arsenal. Unfortunately, it took him several attempts to open the jammed doors, but he was eventually able to take an HMG. The Hsien and CSU took up positions in the armory while the hacker waited outside for possible targets. On the left flank, the Dakini HMG opened fire to force the enemy into cover. Tragically, one Warcor was seriously wounded in this action. The rest of the ISS force moved its position and the Pheasant agent threw a mad trap into the armory.

Team Sirius and two crusher units from O-12 responded to the ISS aggression and attempted to clear the armory of enemy units. The Sirius hacker attempted to disable the Hsien with a hacking attempt but was unable to penetrate the Hsien tinbot's firewall. At the same time the mad trap was triggered, but it had no effect on the opponent. Therefore, the first crusher approached the room and opened fire on the Hsien with his SMG. A long firefight ensued with one crusher dead and one Hsien slightly injured. Since it seemed to be the only chance to eliminate the Hsien, the second crusher now also intervened. An almost equally long firefight began, but this time ended with an unconscious Hsien and a battered crusher. Single shots were fired on the left flank, but there were no casualties.

The Celestial Guard immediately covered the battlefield with smoke, allowing the Dakini Medic to advance. In addition, the Rui Shi, shrouded in smoke, began firing at the crusher and an advancing Raptor unit. While the crusher could be taken out, the raptor could at least be forced into cover. This allowed the Dakini to reach the unconscious Hsien and heal him with his medikit. Immediately, the Hsien rushed to the front of the armory and took enemy fire. Since the task was to kill as few as possible of the troops who were actually political allies, the enemies were only forced to retreat here as well. Another mad trap was set in the armory and the ISS forces waited for the next wave of O-12 troops.

Now Hector intervened and opened fire on the Hsien. Again, a long firefight developed and neither side could defeat the enemy. With time already running out for the O-12 troops, Hector was finally able to land a killing blow. At the same time, however, he was slightly wounded. A Lambda Doctor yudbot immediately appeared and healed Hector before Hector stormed toward the armory. He was heavily attacked by the Dakini HMG and Major Lunah, who had joined the righteous cause of the Yu Jing troops. Almost miraculously, Hector made it into the Armory badly wounded and immediately dominated the room with his presence. Even the mad trap and the hacker could do nothing against him.

Our troops now had to do everything possible to render Hector harmless, otherwise the capture of the Armory seemed impossible. Therefore, the Kuang Shi were unleashed and stormed the room. While Hector was able to dodge the first rounds of the Chain rifle, he reached the CSU and engaged him. Now, a vague shadow appeared and moved towards Hector. From this shadow sprang one of our ninjas and attacked the distracted Hector. Hector nevertheless reacted with lightning speed and killed the ninja with only one blow. After that, the CSU was directly decapitated. Only our hacker was able to stop hector by immobilizing him. After that, he was an easy target for the Kuang Shi's Chain rifle and quickly fell victim to them. Now the Armory was ours and many more of our troops could reach the room. Victory was only a matter of time.

A last desperate attempt by the O-12 troops in the person of the Raptor unit only resulted in the destruction of a few of our remote troops and his own death. The mission was thus an almost complete success, mainly thanks to our Hsien, whose Cube was of course recovered. Unfortunately, there were high human losses on the side of the O-12 units, which we regret very much.
