Durgama Takeover

DeltaUruz reporting another victory for the glorious State Empire:

Yesterday, as the sun was setting, our forces of the Invincible Army allocated in Xiandao spotted an Haqqislamite contingent of assassins sneaking on our facilities. Their intentions were clearly to take control of the lab, so we did not hesitate to open fire.

Battle report, mission: Countermeasures

-Invincible army, 1st turn: Since the Mowang and Tai Sheng are pinned on the left side of the table by a 5 men link team with 2 HRL muyibs, I start moving the Core fireteam on the right side, composed by a Shang Ji with AP HMG, Jeong, Haidao KHD and a Rui Shi. The Shang JI manages to find a line of fire to the muybs, and takes them down one at a time. Removed the main ARO pieces, all the orders are spent on that team, that pushes forward in the enemy lines and efficiently removes from the table 2 Muttawi’ahs and Yasbir, also securing two mission objectives: the Rui Shi cehcks the identity of an HVT, and Jeong deploys a D-charge on a container in the enemy’s side of the table. Now free to move, the Mowang and Tai Sheng uses the NCO orders to advance, with the Mowang going in suppressive fire. The Daoying lieutenant stays prone and safe on top of a building, and a Haidao sniper stands on another one, linked with two Zhanshis (hacker and paramedic), waiting for targets

-Hassassin’s Bahram, 1st turn: Forces of Haqqislam suffered heavy casualties in the first turn, but their morale is not broken, and they’re determined to take vengeance on the fireteam that caused so much death upon their ranks. Leila Sharif starts hacking all my hackers through the Rui Shi’s repeater. After a couple orders, the Haidao goes in NWI, the Zhanshi is unconscious, but so is Leila. At that point, Al-Djabel sneaks out of cover, Impersonated. He gets discovered by my fireteams member, but not soon enough to avoid damage: sacrificing his life, he takes the Rui Shi and the Haidao in the grave with him.
A really long shot from the Asawira, linked with a Lasiq and Yara Haddad (remaining from the team of Muyibs) finds a line of sight to the Shang Ji, killing him too in just one order. A Ragik hacker failing to land where he intended concludes the round

-Invincible army, 2nd turn: with Jeong as the last survivor of the link team, the Mowang and Tai Sheng become the main charachters of the game. Tai Sheng spends the first order to accomplish the “net-undermine” objective, and the next 4 to forward observe twice an HVT through a saturation zone. The rest of the orders are spent in a firefight between the Mowang and the Asawira, who gets knocked unconscious at last, but regenerates

-Hassassin’s Bahram, 2nd turn: Finally, the Haidao sniper gets to show his marksmanship in ARO. A Rafiq remote tries to spot him to make a mission objective, but gets killed instead. The Asawira advances to get his revenge on the Mowang (who went in total cover in his last order), but to do so he must expose himself to the multi-sniper too. He chooses to risk it, and a critical double-action bullet ends his life. As last act of the turn, the ragik advances to data scan the unconscius Shang ji and succeedes, but the Haidao notices, and snipes him too out of existence.

Invincile Army, 3rd turn: While the paramedic fails to cure the fellow unconscious Zhanshi hacker, the Mowang and Tai Sheng keep fighting, managing to kill Yara Haddad and the remaining Lasiq. Luckily, the latter gets only knocked Unconscious, allowing the Mowang to complete the “in extremis recovery” objective. With only the Ghulam lieutenant left alive, the battle ends.

It was a fun game the local gaming club, and I’m not gonna lie, the dice were nicer to the State-Empire on this one.
NOTE: I recreated the Hassassin’s list, I might have messed up the placement of the troopers in the combat groups, as I don’t remember exactly
