Durgama Takeover

*Time to show how easily the defences can be cracked in the hopes of preparing the Ariadna to defend against the inevitable CA assault. Aleph forces penetrate the Starboard Fire Control Module and begin their assault upon the unsuspecting ill equipped forces of Cosmo*

Turn 1:
With the dice going Aleph’s way it was time for the aggressive assault with the ultimate weapon, Marut rockets up the board in a hail of gunfire but is stopped in his tracks by an SAS named Tavish MacBeardlington. Crippled by an excellent d charge, the Dakini Takbot sniper decides to shoot into the engagement in a risky play that sees the Marut take more hits that the SAS but was able to absorb the damage with its thick armour only to see Tavish go down with a well placed shot. Being free to operate freely the Marut baited Wallace, and his fire team as well as a bearpode into a killing funnel as it tactically retreated back to Parvati to heal the wounds Tavish had inflicted. Having disposed of the truely horrifying melee threats and reducing the order pool of their opponents Aleph decided to rest and Turn 1 for Ariadna saw them advance swiftly and aggressively up the board. Fumbling their smoke grenades Tacbots managed to snipe down the Ariadna advance of Varengians and Irmandinhos, however Equipe Mirage now sat poised for an offensive push in turn 2 and needed a response.

Turn 2
Fully healed and still buffed with Marksmanship from the evo hacker the Marut started its next assault punishing the advance of the Ariadna and thinning their defences enough to allow Parvati to race up the middle of the field and complete 2 classifieds on the enemy HVT albeit through a hail of grenades and SMG fire. Stuck in the open and with no hope of return Parvati was going to have to weather some fire. Indiscriminate and aggressive shooting from the Marut saw the fall of our own Netrod but also turning Duroc into swiss cheese. The board was set for turn 3 and Alpeh calculated cold AI had proven to maximise casualties while minimising losses.

Margot from Ariadna decided that Parvati was too valuable to be left alive and shredded her with AP bullets in her hubris for remaining in the open after objectives had been completed, this would not stand! More Camo markers attempted to make it into Alephs deployment but were discovered and sniped by the Tacbots. Uxia was a beast and incredibly hard to deal with as she made short work of the tacbot HMG and completed a classified objective like it was a cake walk. Leaving the Aleph with a total of 3 dead units it was time for turn 3.

Turn 3
The Marut decided to capture the Ariadna forward zone but not before taking out Margot for her spiteful attack on Parvati. The Shukra consultant took some pot shots at Uxia before positioning in Alpehs defensive zone and Rebots, Probots shuffled to attempt to hold various other zones.

Ariadna also shuffled around the board in an attempt to contest the areas but only managed to capture the centre resulting in an Aleph victory.
