With 0-12 losing any semblance of control of the Raveneye station and the less than cooperative efforts of several human sphere factions, Hippolyta led a small strike force to the bow of said station. Local Ariadnan forces, led by William Wallace, refused to cede captured areas after a formal 0-12 request. Realizing the caliber of Wallace’s forces, Hippolyta requested the support of a Zeta unit, which was granted in time for the conflict. Ariadnan forces had three Cameronians rushing up the field, however 0-12 forces were able to stall their advance with suppressive fire and one particularly courageous crusher. She has been suggested for posthumous commendation (see file BA-576-c).

While casualties mounted, the advance of the Caledonians was stalled, allowing 0-12 forces to approach the antennae and thin the opposing forces. One particularly foolish SAS believed that a d-charge was the optimal way to eliminate the Zeta. It is unclear if any remains were able to be recovered from the point blank HRMC rounds.

A Lambda engineer was able to assure the TAG remained in optimal condition, as some lighter weapons had managed to find vulnerabilities. Said engineer is being debriefed separately to asses possible modifications to the model (see file BA-812-e).
Seeing their momentum flailing, Wallace broke from his support team and charged Hippolyta. While thermal smoke blocked most of the conflict, the results were clear. Wallace’s war shout was cut short, and the dissipating smoke made clear that he had not fared well in the darkness. With enemy leadership eliminated, 0-12 forces were able to secure the necessary tech.

While a victory, this was a hard fought battle that did not need to happen. Losses on both sides were disappointing, and had Caledonian forces complied with 0-12 requests, this entire situation could have been avoided. More cooperation within the human sphere is necessary, particularly with the imminent threat of the Combined Army at our doorstep. Ariadnan motivations remain unclear at this time, hopefully Bureau Noir may be able to find more information.
Majority of forces were equipped in “urban stealth coloration.” (Most models I have painted didn’t see play this time, I’m still catching up on that)

Is there a way to insert the images? I’m having a hard time, other than as a link that just makes it more awkward. I haven’t seen any others with images in the text, although I’m new to this system

I enjoyed the narrative nature of the battle, and congrats on a hard fought victory. Next time try putting the pictures breaking up the text, it makes for a more engaging read.
