Durgama Takeover

We…we were caught flat footed. Haqq Islam unleashed a surprise assault on the Gekidan facility while we sought to reclaim in from Aleph. We attempted to pivot our forces, but it was to no avail.

Haqq Islam lead early, forming a fireteam on the left flank and moving from cover. With only a man exposed, they fired a Heavy Rocket Launcher (HRL) right into the Yaokong positioned in the left rear building. The Yaokong’s lack of onboard defensive technology saw it vanish under fire. Without losing a beat, the Muyib fired onto Yojimbo (not shown) and despite the recent mimetic technology he acquired, he was also mercilessly cut down.

A Rafiq began to move from the rear center around the buildings, but a quick reacting Ryuken-9 agent returned fire with his own HRL. He trust in his own Mimetic camoflauge to protect him from there on out.

The earlier Muyib fire team began to advance again and fired two pitcher repeaters to the left. One failed, but one landed. The Hassassin Killer Hacker immediately Trinity’d the other Ryuken-9, who’d thought she was safe while prone on a building. Thinking quickly, the Ryuken agent sacrificed her defense to target the enemy’s other hacker while exposed to their Hacking network. One Hacker down, at the cost of the Ryuken.

The Lieutenant had to recalculate the battle strategy. With more time, the Ryuken-9 was expected to hide from the Haqq Islam assault and reach the center console. That path was closed. Fortunately, the detachment was armed with three Karakuri Experimental Projects that had formed a Haris in the center. Unfortunately, those Karakuri remained bogged down and slowly picked off by the Haqq fireteam for the remainder of the game.

After the first doll went down, Yuriko Oda sent her Yaozao to repair it. Unfortunately, that sent the peripheral into enemy fire and further HRL onslaught.

In a desperate bid, Oda hugged the corner and targeted the fireteam leader with her E/Mitter. Her roll missed by 1 and she was eliminated in the returning hail of fire.

At this point, all JSA forces have been boxed in and cannot move to stop the Haqq advance. A hacker quickly moved to the center console and successfully identified our critical HVT. Without hesitation, a friendly moved to engage her. To protect her? It was too late, the Impersonator revealed themselves and cut down our HVT.

The Hassassin Baram force secured a decisive victory.
