Starmada won the LT roll, and kept deployment, electing to deploy second. Shasvastii elected to go first.
Linkk teams:
Haris: Betatrooper + Hector + Epsilon
Duo: Bronze + Knight Santiago

Round 1:
The shasvastii spent the impetuous and irregular orders on the four Taigha’s to move them up the flanks and out of the BTV zone, and performed two co-ordinated orders in an attempt to move as many models out of the BTV zone. Then, he activated the Sphinx, using it’s climbing plus ot move it up the flank on top of the shipping containers. It took shots at the crusher, putting it into NWI, and then went into suppresive fire. In the process of going into suppressive, the crusher rolled a crit with his Light Rocket Launcher, but the Sphinx shrugged off the hit without taking a wound. Despite marching forward, many shasvastii forces found themselves still inside the maw of the plague, with Dr Worms slave drones, the R-Drone, the caliban, and the speculo all falling victim.

Start of Starmada’s first turn, the varangian used his impetuous order to move and throw smoke in between the epsilon and the sphinx. Then, the bronze engaged the speculo killer which had been revealed due to the BTV roll, and killed it with his heavy shotgun. The duo then moved up, with the Knight of Santiago killing the two Taighas on the left flank as they advanced up to a position to fight the gwailo. The Santiago managed to put one wound on the gwailo, which,m being the LT, elected to fail guts and go prone, giving the epsilon space to attempt to fight the Sphinx. Utilising the smoke laid by the varangian, the epsilon was able to put a significant number of hits on the sphinx, however the shasvastii TAG proved to be too heavily armoured, and shrugged off 9 out of the 10 hits, to only take a single wound. Having failed to shift the monstrous machine, many O12 units were stuck in the BTV zone, having been unsuccessful in moving out, with the betatrooper, epsilon, varangian, kytta, and crusher all falling to the creeping plague.

Round 2:
With space to roam, the Sphinx then climbed the tall tower to rain a hail of bullets down on hector and the santiago wiht impunity. Hector ultimatly falling to a single volley, and the santiago, miraculousy surviving, and though his faith in god is solid, logic prevailed, and he took shelter from further onslaught.

With the forces of Starmada in disarray, one of the fuzzbots moved up the field to put himself in repeater range of a mentor hacker, which responded by carboniting the robot. However, the Knight of Santiago, used the still active repeater to blow the brains out of the mentor, sending it unconscious. The BTV plague then killed put the Knight of Santiago unconscious.

Round 3:
With the Sphinx dominating the table, and an opportunity to achieve a classified, Dr. Worm moved over to the unconscious body of the mentor in an attempt to heal it. However, the damage from the Santiagos Trinity program proved too fatal, and even with the bonus of the Apotheke, and an assisted recovery device (cube), Dr. Worm ultimatly couldn’t find all of the pieces of the mentors brain to put back into his head, and the mentor succumbed to his wounds. With nothing left to kill, the Sphinx made a beeline for hte Fuzzbot. However, the nimble fuzzbot managed to dodge the Heavy Flamethrower templates from the Sphinx, and moved into CC. The Sphinx then attempted to destroy the baggage bot with its melee aresenal, however the Para CC Weapon (-3) of the fuzzbot triumphed, and for the first time, the Sphinx knew the meaning of fear. However Dr Worm then repaired the Sphinx of it’s immobilised state, and then destroyed the fuzzbot with his D-Charges.

With nothing left to do but try to sure up points, the Bronze climbed to the rooftop where the Knight Of Santiago lay unconscious, and administered him with a shot of adrenaline, perking him right up. The Knight, always looking to the offensive, took some last ditch shots at the gwailo that was standing on a rooftop, taunting the forces of Starmada. Though this was ultimatly, ineffective. As the Santiago took his final shots at the insidious Shasvastii, the biotech plague killed his duo mate, leaving the Knight of Santiago, the last man standing against the relenting tide.
