Wounded and infected by the symbiote running rampant at the research center, his in-extremis allowed the recovery of the aggressive parasite. The Stavka’s interest was piqued, as the parasite’s effects seemed to greatly toughen the bearer provided it could withstand the infection. Dog warriors and Bearpodes could provide resilient subjects that could be tested upon but the Symbiote sample had to reach Dawn. Ariadnan forces tried to use Uxia’s connections with Irmandinho smuggling network to have the 0-12 lose track of the sample, but once off-planet the shipment was forced onto the Raveneye station due to the Combined Army blockade. Alerted, Uxia led her Kosmoflott team to secure the sample from the approaching 0-12 team determined to eliminate the proof of Zebu’s station containment breach.
Initiative roll : Ariadna won the initiative roll, opting to go first. Deployment Ariadna deployed first, opting to deploy the Haris fireteam centrally, with William Wallace on the right flank and the polaris bearpode on the other.
O-12 deployed most of its forces on the left side, around a HMG-toting Epsilon. Kosmoflott’s reserve model was a mysterious camo token that deployed very aggressively, succeding its Infiltration roll to threaten O-12 Epsilon.
1st Turn Ariadna’s first order saw Uxia McNeill reveal from the aggressively infiltrated camo token, reaching the Epsilon. She critically hit the epsilon, that used its nanopulser to take her down while his armor stopped both wounds from the SAS officer.
The polaris bearpode realized its large size towered over the shipping containers littering the area, allowing the Epsilon to hurt it when it failed to dodge out of the line of fire.0-12’s turn saw the superior hacking powers of the 0-12 team hinder the rudimentary Kosmosoldat’s armor, while using the Mad Traps deployed by the Gang busters to lock down the area.
2nd Turn Ariadna’s forces tried to break the lines set up by the 0-12, but the attacks were mostly unsuccessful except for taking down the Peeler remote. After losing the Scotts guard and the left flank irmandhino, the team set up defensively as the opponent’s lineup foreshadowed the imminent arrival of airborne troops. The right flank Irmandhino used her remote to fix up the negative states inflicted by hackers on the Kosmosoldat, and hid in the right building. Cadin « Firststrike » and the Zenit-7 operative were eliminated while trying to allow the advance of the rest of the team.
As expected, the 0-12 second turn saw the arrival of a Delta trooper (doctor) on the left flank after the Wardriver’s elimination by a Killer Hacker Gangbuster. This allowed the elimination of the Bearpode, freeing up that flank for the Beta trooper to advance.
The Epsilon killed the Kosmosoldat despite his heavy armor. Both traktor Muls artillery pieces were eliminated, leaving only William Wallace, the Polaris team Masha and the Dozer alive.3rd turn The heavy losses of the Ariadnan side forced them to retreat, causing the abrupt end of this encounter. The game ended with 7 points going to the 0-12 (6 for holding the 3 Sectors and successfully achieved the net undermine classified objective) to 1 for Ariadna’s classified objective.
