Durgama Takeover

Hi, this is Game 3 out of 3 for the weekend tournament –
1 Major win, 1 Major Loss and 1 Draw.

I have Capture, Extreme prejudice, and Net undermine as my classifieds

My opponent wins the LT roll and chooses deployment – on what i think is the better half.
I choose to deploy deploy my myrmidon link on a tower on the right, scylla, an engineer, missile bot a flashy boi in the centre, leaving the left free.
Achilles is reserved.
He reserves his Chernobog dropping 4 camo markers, some galwegians, volunteers and a marverick and some kazaks and a bearpode – I don’t see any specialists though :/

He drops his Chernobog safely.

Turn 1 Phalanx
Phoenix shoots at a visible volunteer – volunteer tanks the save :/ This will be a general case for this game. He goes Prone
Achilles makes his first run – he triggers a mine dodging it.
Triggers and gets grenades from a panoply – these may be useful! (they’re not 🙁 )
He then takes a fight with that same volunteer, killing it and making his armour save
He then goes to see the bearpode with a camo marker visible – no response – ok, bearpode makes all his saves.
He then tries to shoot the other volunteer and the bear – bear takes 1 wound i think and i miss the volunteer.
He finally drops the bear to unconsious and the volunteer.
I walk on the Ekdromoi from the second group where the volunteer was watching – a galwegian makes a dodge – he superjumps near the volunteer as jumping up and over would trigger a long range shot from the Veteran Kazak.
The Ekdromoi then jumps up and drops 2 chain rifles over 2 camo markers and the unconscious bearbope and volunteer.
The Ekdromoi takes aros from a HMG, a Heavy Flamethrower and makes his saves – armour still holding.
The volunteer dies, the camo markers are shown to be a Spetnatz and a decoy. the Spetnatz dodges.
The ekdromoi then runs into CC with the spetnatz – I choose to shoot him with 2 chain rifles on the way in and he CC’s me and I take a HMG – Ekdromoi dies, but the spetnatz makes ANOTHER 2 saves.
Achilles uses his LT order to try and shoot the spetznats again and hits, but the Spetznatz makes at lease one more save.

Turn 1 Ariadna
He drops in his Parachutist Spetnatz and starts to do a job on my back line – the missile bot holds up for 2 orders, Scylla for 1 and the Thorakites holds for about 3 orders, This is about all he can do, he didn’t have many orders left in the first group.

Turn 2 Phalanx.
Achilles Show version 2 : Explosive Boogaloo.
He comes out to try and shoot the Spetznatz and gets him and the grunt after about 4 orders.
He takes a fight with the veteran kazak and takes one wound. the Chernobog turns around.
He then shoots the chernobog over the wall and in a strange turn of events the chernobog takes 2 hits and 2 wounds, going to battle ravaged.
As Shooting isn’t working against the kazak, time for CC, Red mist goes the Kazak.
Achilles kills the Maverick, then takes a wound going into the Chernobog with the flamethrower, the chernobog is now unconscious. I take one more shot into a galwegian killing it, but i should have backed off Achilles into more total cover.
I walk on my ekdromoi on to a secure location.

Turn 2 Ariadna.
My opponent is in LoL.
He activates a panoply with a Chasseur, and then has 1 order with a galwegian to try and take out Achilles.
He comes round the corner, I dodge, i fail my dodge… and fail my armour save.
My opponent fails to do net-undermine

Turn 3 Phalanx
I am in LoL.
I have 4 command tokens, so Phoenix and team start to do things – I kick the spetznatz back into total cover.
I try and long range medikit achilles with my thorakitai paramedic, but i am outside 24″ and cannot hit.
My myrmidons go up to the panoply and get a multi sniper and after rerolling cause i had both Mim(-6) and DA CC weapon, i get i think MULTI Rifle
I get Net-undermine with my ekdromoi after 2 tries – I am not able to get capture or extreme prejudice as the galwegian comes around the corner and goes dogged.

Turn 3 Ariadna
My opponent is able to get Net-Undermine and Secure the HVT.

We finish off with 4-4.
I have army points, my opponents has specialists, I have panoplies and 1 classified, my opponent has 2.

I had so much time to Coup de Grace the Chernobog or the Bearpode. :(((

I have had fun being aggressive with Achilles these three games.
