The squads prepared to enter the contested containment zone and discussing possible mission plans. That murmur quickly turned to reverend silence as the respected leader Neema Saatar walked into the room. The mission must have been a priority for the Triumvirate to assign Neema, two Taqeuls and a Gorgos to this campaign. Neema begins the operational briefing and announces that Pan O has sent a small scout force to the area. The group turns to one another with a look of confusion, the general thought, why is Pan O interested by the situation at Zebu while they are loosing control of Raveneye.

Deployment –
Turn one begins with Pan O winning the roll and decides to take the fight to Tohaa and seize the initiative. The Tohaa commander takes this time to determine the defensive positions and possible weakness in the opposing force. A few things stood out immediately, the first weakness was a small group of two units seemed to be operating away from the main force. Neema requested a focused effort to disrupt communications to the Nisse sniper and the Nokken hacker. The second issue being a group of Fusiliers deployed on one flank which allowed the Gorgos to counter deploy out of sight from the overwatching sniper. Tohaa command executed perfectly and the Sniper and Nokken immediatly lost comms and were dangerously stuck inside the biohazard area. Unaware of the peril as they worked to restore communication and get orders from HQ.

First Turn –

Pan 0 –
Pan Ocenia began by moving a Harris of Orc troppers up the left flank toward the containment center. Surprisgnly nothing was immediatly noticable. The team continued to push forward without a sign of enemy pressence. With team leader growing in confidence that the Tohaa force had pulled out the area. He decided to press the advance. Rushing forward, almost sprinting, that huberous would cost him dearly as he continued up a set of stair to find a Spitfire range critically hitting him in the chest. Neema had taken aim and waitied for his breif lapse in concentration to unleash her deadly shot. The Orce collapsed and the team shaken lost cohesion and took cover.

On the other side of the field, a group of Fusilers pressed up the field and took up position on a walkway overlooking the research center. That team of line troopers seemed oblivious to the danger behind the building immediatly in front of them.

Tohaa –
Weathering the assualt by Pan O. Tohaa command order the advance of all troops out of the biohazard zone. Reports were incoming that the area they were holding could become dangerous to operation personel. With that the Gorgos pushed the attack along his flank. The building provided cover from the Nisse perched high on the building but clean fire lanes to the Fusilers. Those troopers didn’t stand a chance to fearsome Gorgos and it’s suicidal chaska. Sending this little unit forward created a tough decision for the fireteam. Deciding to shoot the monsterous tag versus dodging to safety proved to be a mistake.

With both flanks were mostly clear, the back line Triads moved forward under the cover of eclipse smoke. They took up positon safely outside the bio hazard zones and prepared for a Pan O counter attack.

Second Turn –

Pan O –
With the loss of comms the Nokken and Nisse were both consumed by the bioplague and their suits didn’t offer enough protection from falling uncoiunscious. The same fate happend to the recently fallen Fusiler team, all but one trooper fell to this mysterious fog. The Boyg trooper decided to take the fight to his alien opponent and rushed toward a building shielding a Triad. To his surprise the Taquel he was targeting wasn’t such a soft target as his muscles began to twitch and he could no longer understand firendly communication. This alien tech seemed to cause confusion and made operating his powered armor difficult feeling isolated in the hulking armor. Seeing the Boyg struggle the Orc troopers turned to face the Taqeul. Thios exposed them to a barage of fire from Neema. Again the unassuming Taqeul proved to be a difficult opponet as a eerie blackness caused the Orc’s shot to disappear into the fog without the sound of a sucesful hit. Neema’s shots were again spot on and dropped another Orc in the exchange. The last order from the remaing Orc was to drop a Sudra who had be stalking the group. The Sudra went to the ground versus turning into a dogged and rampaging beast.

Tohaa –
At this point only a few Pan O. forces were still in fighting shape. The Gorgos quickly finished off the isolated Boyg. The alien tech left him facing the wrong direction, not allowing him to react efficently to the incoming threat. Neema dispatched the last Orc trooper taking a wound that she shrugged off. Nemma moved the Triad closer to the fallen Sudra. The paramedic Kamel provided quick healing nanobots to the injured beast, who then snarrled and bound off toward the last Pan O trooper. The medic tried to react and fired a pistol but quickly fell to the angered Sudra. Lastly the Taqeul Tria captured and then extracted the Pan O scientist.

Post Op –
With the complete victory, the Tohaa forces pulled back to the containment facility to await extration.
