Durgama Takeover

Turn one was an explosive round, my opponent used a foreward deployed beast Hunters to perfection.

First move of the game he moves the beast Hunters up the board forcing me to try and discover with my HMG, he drops the suprise panzerfaust on me scoring a crit.

Sadly my poor offensive not was not the first casualty. The beast Hunters continues up the the stairs to my sniper nest, the Asura manages to spotlight him giving me an objective card but the beast Hunters deploys a mine around the corner.

He spend another order whilst prone looking solely at my Dakini but managing to catch my Lamedh and Yudbot in the template radius.

I lose my all three.

From here he starts to move around the board bringing his tag further up and starts picking a fight with my proxy mark 4.
It took three attempts but he eventually managed to bring the proxy down.

To end his go he moves his bounty hunter up alongside Carmen Jones.

A crushing first turn losing so many models to the Haqqislam offence.

My opponents Zhayedsn has the remaining half of my army pinned down heavily.

I make a breakout play using the Asura, going into impersonation state and rushing her up the board.

I manage to secure one of the antennas using most of my orders then have to pull her back to what would have to pass for safety then set up defences around her,

I manage to get the remaining dakinis to wipe out the beast Hunter so that she can't tidy up the rest of that corner, losing one in the process.

Unfortunately my opponent has shakush and Yara Haddad are pressing down on me meaning I have to move prone to avoid bad fights.

End of my go ive managed to kill just the beast Hunter and secure an antenna.

The second turn in haqq was equally destructive.

He used Carmen John's and his pet dog to circle my Asura, using smile to block out my mark 2 proxy then surrounding Amari.

I tried to aro using my multi rifle but he managed to save the armour roll.

From here he double combats into Amari and while it takes two turns she is brought down losing my lieutenant.

From here he advanced on my sniper proxy sbo does manage to kill Carmen goes down the trench hammer throw.

He then switches groups and moves histag further up the board into my deployment zone ending his turn in a very threatening position

Withour Amari or any of my other offensive pieces left, I know I only have one option lef.t take objectives.

I manage to move my final proxy up the board and attempt to engineer my proxy sniper but roll a 17.

Having used my orders in group two I have to switch to my main team,

The Apsara goes into impersonation mode and burns through the majority of my orders, she manages to get to the middle antenna and activate it, that's two !

The enemy main console is within reach, she darted towards it sbur gets stunned by the warcor.

Stunned isn't so bad, I can work with stunned, I put another order into her and move the towards the console but alas, my opponent had cleverly kept his hidden Tuareg waiting to ambush what ever unit came this way.

I try to dodge out of the way, but roll an 11 and failing my armour save Apsara falls down within an inch of the console.

Using this Tuareg he takes over the central console taking it away from me..

He moves up his shaqush around the back of my deploymemt zone and walks over to my console, knocking my final Dakini unconscious in the process.

Just four models left standing on my side.

He tries to take my final console but doesn't manage to wip test.

Our of orders in the pool he switches over to his small ghulam Haris and moves them up using the doctor to try and secure the right antenna but fails the test.

I'm currently up 2-0 in objectives but my opponent has his tag on my console and he's managed to even up the antennas.

I have one play and one play alone.

The engineer attempt to fix my Dakini paramedic, success.

I move the Dakini over to the bridge looking out on my unconscious Apsara, it's a long shot but it's the only shot I have.

He attempts to medikit her at maximum range.

I need a five, just one low dice any low dice will do.

Heart broken as my paramedic is knocked into unconscious from the ghulam Haris covering fire.

I manage to go into unconscious level 2 rather than dead so instill have a minute hope.

I move the engineer again, she leaps at the Dakini, just needing to repair it one more time.

Unfortunately at that my point I'm out of possible actions and that's game.

It was a very tough match but I truly gave it my all even in the face of overwhelming might where other players may have chalked it up to a loss and fought to the last order to try and bring a win home for Aleph
