Morat forces set up with an eye on keeping the hasty Yu Jing forces from gaining much ground. A Vanguard HMG on overwatch to an antennae, a forward observer Vanguard attempting to keep some pressure on the left flank. That vanguard fell quickly. His team was ready to help him when the time came, however. To attempt to prevent this, a Ye Mao jumped up over a billboard and attempted to put down the team’s Vanguard paramedic. The firefight did not go in the favour of the Vanguard who gave up ground to keep team cohesion, and be ready to treat his compatriots.
With the right flank locked down by Kornak, a Q-Drone, and the centre under overwatch by a Raicho, the Yu Jing forces secured the left flank antennae, then positioned for defence. This would not serve them, however. The bounty hunter, having secured an HMG, put the distant suppressing forces down, and moved up from the left flank to the middle. A Suryat also with HMG led Kornak and a Raktorak up the right to drain some assets. After losing each encounter and the forces within, the Yu Jing forces picked up from where they were dug in, and called a hasty retreat.
