VS PanOceania
Bryan

The PanOceanian forces gave up all advantage at the start of the conflict. They deployed so we could respond, and gave us opportunity to go first. We, of course, capitalised on these opportunities. Given the PanOceanian forces left their Tikbalang out in the open, our Raicho had no better opportunity to destroy it. The opponent TAG did still manage to cause some damage to the Raicho in the process, but it was well worth the effort. And this was only compounded when we took out their sniper in it’s fox hole. Our Q-Drone wound up being left behind, but the Suryat led Kornak and the Raktorak support to pin down some early problems, being bots with Flash Pulse interference. Heavy fire from an HMG really brought that down, depriving our opposition of tactical opportunity and varied response.
The Vanguard team pushed up the left flank to maximise the chance given in being able to take control of the positioning of the field. They were ready for their opportunity to strike. However, some lack of attention by the commander caused not only the Q-Drone to be lost through decision, but Kornak through misjudgement. Our strike force was without the lieutenant now. But would push on anyway.
The OpFor certainly made some ground up, though. Leaving some drones, and some sacrificial troops in the biotechvore area of influence, but causing some pressure on our forces. Some clever use of mines and close range shotgun fire did cause our Suryat to take some damage, and really put pressure on our Vanguard fireteam. They were well positioned, and became a tick needing to be dug out.
Our Vanguard forces identified a hostile trooper attempting to remain concealed, and swiftly eliminated that foe. The Suryat and Raktorak worked on an opposing trooper applying pressure to them with mines and shotgun fire, and rendered it no future threat. Our Raicho maintained an active role in utilising exposed fire lanes, and made ready for a final push as we re-ascertained the battle ground. Then our opponent made some real blood.
Our Suryat was taken down with some pressure and a mine blast. Our Vanguard forces were assailed by a team sneaking past the Raicho’s field of fire, and laying down CombiRifle fire, and mines resulting in a loss of three of the members. Our forces swiftly dwindled in that time. So the Raicho made a great brave play. Climbing to see the imposing Fireteam that assailed our own Vanguard fireteam, the TAG was now in the BioTechvore area of effect, with no means to extricate itself. But between the Raicho’s HMG, and the Vanguard paramedic’s CombiRifle, the last of the PanOceanian forces were eliminated.
