-Day 3 of our shift at patrolling the eastern quadrant 2ALS1:
We heard some noise, guns firing, music and other general sound of drunk mercenary groups.
The landscape seemed unprepared for an ambush so we decided that the threat was probably minimal, just a roving warband. We were on route to intercept trying to dissuade them from trespassing and getting over their heads. The High command was clear, not attack enemy forces unless they were combined army. We were there to protect, not wage an aggressive war, yet.
Upon seeing that they were (drunk but that is a pleonasm) Ariadnans, but better hearing that they were cheering a Wallace, we let our guards down and advanced towards then not deployed properly for battle to dissuade them from fighting. That when, out of Nowhere, a wagon loads of our technical crates, filled with important technologies appeared and suddenly, what was a disorganized warband, had in fact took battle position, in very good position to actually attack and seize our precious materials.
(For the Meta explanation, we played on TTS, and i deployed complaining a bit that the map was very open, when i saw his deployment that made no sense i discovered that thy were crates on the map,hence my very compact deployment, he allowed me to redeploy but our game time was limited so i didn’t change much).

the actual battle field is displayed in the full video from our recon drone. Sorry for the bother but the Ariadna hacker had the time to change it’s setting to French to spite us…. so the whole video report is in french… Damn prehistoric monkeys…
Anyway, seeing this technological feat, that also proves that someone tempered with our GPS to throw us of thinking we were out of the danger zone. We decided in the split second we had taht this was a major threat, probably backed by the CA. Because the technology displayed here is far out of the reach of Ariadna. Even Panoceania or Aleph could have trouble pulling something like that. So either they were back up by the CA, the Hexaedron, the imperial service or we had traitors in our midst. Knowing that this Wallace could be a fuc.... worm, we applied our battle logic to the situation. Act know, ask for answer and apologies later!
We rushed in , trying to break their line and dispatching their visor. The Major objectiv was to remove the hackeur to prevent hacking to download relevant date. The minors objective were to either cripple completely the enemy main shooters or to cripple some and take the command out of the game as both lieutenant and chain of command were fairly close by. We had to take risk and push very deep because their objectives were very attainable for them and we didn't have anyone to compete with Steve Rogers's firepower at long range.
Unfortunately we didn't kill enough.
Their retaliation, and our bad reading of the map, laid our commander Machaon dead on the field.
Nothing much to say in the disarray we were we actualy did some analyse on the uxia, to see if she was a shasvasi. The data are send with this record. We did'nt have the biotech on the field to analyse it ourselves.
Both faction just tried to grab their objectives we mainly defend letting ajax be a nuisance in their lines.
A courageous team of Thorkites made a run for the objectives while ajax tried to prevent what he could, but atlas, me failed high command.
Atraxeon messed up the code to send the crate back the the station, but given he received 6 bullet in the body during the process, this is understandable.
We lost High command. We were outsmarted, out gunned and out deployed, that that is no excuses for the finest of Aleph. We will discipline ourselves and do better!!

PS: We know you have some new tools and upgrades coming, they are badly needed. We felt a bit outdated in this exchange. Apart from ajax, we felt... outdated...
