Greetinx comrades. This is Cmdr Archon. CJC Taskforce – stationed on the Raveneye Port Battery. We detected a warband of JSA freelancers near the battery control modules. They were up to a datapackage stored in a local techcoffin.

Soon as we detected the intruders (not to be mismatched with our camo-assault troops) we took up a defense Postition (both cmdr rolled three times, I had 16, 18, 20). A small group with a Neko-Clone, a Tankö and a Karakuri advanced under cover to our postion. The Karakuri managed to took out a Jag on the second attempt and got our Wildcat – which had the task to secure the left flank for a bike attack – on the wrong foot, shot her from her post.

Now the Tankö runs around the corner, activating a E/M Mine from the RE Officer which immediatly turned her into a statue. Now the Karakuri shot again and brought the REO down. The Neko-Clone darted to the techcoffin and grabed the datapackage and got shot by our NCO Wildcat and the Eva-Engineer. But the damaged was done, the package on the ground out of sight behind a container. A sction 9 operative grabed the package, returned to her side and hid behind a bush.

To be honest, they took us by suprise. So a Hellcat jumped near the position of the beacon carrier, dropped a repeater and Jazz tried to carbonate the Rui Shi (wich escaped two times) and evantualy the HC simply shot the Rui Shi and then the Section 9 KHD, bringing the beacon down and layed out supressive fire.

The spitfire Aragoto quickly turned the bike, riding a big circle, getting the HC in the back. Cought our beacon again, retreated in the back provided supressive fire too.

The formerly isolated Karakuri got herself in a more threating position and the Combi and KHD-Aragotos brought themselfes in a better postion, providing covering fire. A bit postioning in the backyard and the JSA turn was done.

I decided to keep the last cmd-token, which was not smart and started with the Correctional Haris. Massacre needed two attempts two cut down the robo geisha, the Jaguar shot the Argoto down, which formerly dodged a smoke grenade. The core got a bit movement too. Then Cor-Haris advanced, loosing the Jaguar who managed to provide smoke cover, which enabled the Wildcat – who evaded a flashpulse – to brought down the beacon carrier with a lucky shot (Needed 7 got four dices over 10 and a 6 against three dices on a 6 which all failed).

JSA grabbed the beacon again, took it to relative savety in ruined building. My odds turned out to be bad. In the end I was not able to reach the enemy tech coffin, could only bring down the KHD Aragoto and Jazz failed three times to use spotlight on a unconcious target.

I am sorry for this bad result for us here in the RE but I have to say this was fun an threating game 🙂
