Durgama Takeover

Another one of those free roaming moulds of flesh jumped at her. Shakira just evaded it, it stuck to the wall. Fascinating Tohaa stuff, she had to analyze it later. But first she had to pay attention to the firefight in front of her. The Hassassin had asked her to ascertain the identity of a Sister Tamara, the leader of a terrorist group. It is hard to say no to the Hassassin.

We fought at Darpan and my Hassassin try to get their hands on Sister Tamara (Kusanagi) in order to ascertain if she is in league with Equinox. So with an opportunity at Darpan they strike.
Hassassin won initiative and took second turn, so I had to set up first and start second. With so much heavy armour I immediately got doubts about my list...

Shakira felt the ground rubbing at her legs as she slid into the room. It was messy in here. The lab equipment was splattered with liquids and parts of flesh. Around her only dead and broken bodies. She was thankful for the strong stomach of this Lhost. She quickly scanned the bodies, most of them she would be able to safe, yet first her mission. She found the incapacitated Tamara, heavily convulsing under the viral rounds from the Ayyar. First a sedative to calm her system, then she took out her longest needle and made a quick biopsy from the spine. She could feel the watchful Hassassin behind her.
She ran the comparison. She hesitated.
"Attila? This is Shakira Karimi."
"Target status?"
"She will live, but she is most likely not the target. Her genetic drift might be a sign of cloning. I need a lab to confirm."
"Understood. We are inbound to secure."
He did not have to tell her to stabilize the other enemies, she was a Haqqislamite doctor. No one would die if she could prevent it.

Whew wat a ride. After a hiatus of several years playing Hassassin again was exhilarating, I felt totally undergunned and defended all game and got a headache how to proceed :) In the end they did their job. Again. As the always do. Playing them is like a puzzle box to crack - I love it.

It ended 7-5 with no one standing on the Nomads side. But I only managed to scrape in the victory with the last orders, as it should be. Sadly this will be my only report for the Haqqislam this campaign. We can do it Sisters and Brothers! Thanks for reading. Have fun ^^
