Durgama Takeover

The last attack at the Zebu research system, left the forces of 0-12 weakened and in need of reinforcements. The battered, but revigorated ‘Wintermute’ unit of 0-12 were dispatched with other forces to secure the Zebu research center. It is one day that the defenders of humanity won’t forget, the Biotechvore virus is not to be trifled with, and the confusion and panic it creates amongst friendly troops is something to fear.

Round 1,
0-12 were first to arrive at the scene, and were scoping the area until a large explosion, that signalled the impending doom for the poor unfortunate souls trapped within the research facility. US Ariadna was also trapped amongst the sweeping plague that signalled the need to evacuate and do it fast. In a time where it is your survival or theirs, everyone always picks themselves. 0-12 started strong removing some grunts and long shooters that could spell trouble. However, in their attempt to thin the ranks and the lack of experience dealing with the Biotechvore virus, it left the members of the 0-12 well inside the infection zone and the plague took hold witling the numbers of the deploying troops. Panic set in, as the US Ariadna realised the situation and utilised bikes to speed their escape out of the situation, and take advantage on some miss placed 0-12 troops. They did not suffer better as the virus took hold, taking some talented men and women to the grave.

Round 2
The 0-12 realising this is a fight for survival not a simple sweep and clear, took up arms to make sure that they are still standing at the end of the shooting or at least make the enemy bleed, proceeded to push onto the bikes and the charging forces of the colony forces. some objectives were completed, and the fight for survival was on. However, the tide was to strong for them witling their numbers again and causing issues with the loss of a commander. The Ariadna, confident in there skills pushed on making sure of their survival, even with the loss of troops.

Round 3
The forces of 0-12 were extinguished in this last phase, ensuring Ariadna escape and survival with what little unit they had left. Bullets hurt, but viruses are deadly.
