VS ALEPH
Shamash

Operation: HOMEGUARD

Shamash is starting to learn the glory of the fireteam. He started strong, with his Dakini fireteam breaking my fireteam and blasting a Kameel off the board.

On my turn they fell prey to my Naffatun, though - I managed to destroy three of the four of them with liberal application of napalm. His paramedic Dakini found temporary safety inside the bunker, while my Ghulam Doctor failed to open a tech-coffin (rolling an 18 is the scourge of the WIP 14 model).

His second turn was spent getting a tech-coffin open - he managed to get a hacker out of my lines of fire but he couldn't manage much else.

Bottom of turn two I was able to get a tech-coffin open and my Najjarun engineer went on a bit of a spree - he killed the Aleph hacker, stole his supply box, and blew up a Lo Pan Noodle Hut to score my Sabotage secondary objective.

On turn three Shamash conceded - he realized he couldn't tie the game, and entirely by accident I was using his HVT as a human shield so he couldn't even flamethrower my Ghulam fireteam to death out of spite.

The battlefield. It looks a bit sparse but the camera angle made it a bit weird.
Task Force: Sirocco
My secondary objectives. I was only able to accomplish Sabotage.
Shamash got off to a strong start. His Dakini fireteam lurked around the corner and got into a firefight with the Ghulam fireteam. After several rounds of fierce back-and-forth the Ghulam with the missile launcher was killed.
The Dakini fireteam then blasted my Kameel off the board. I was banking on total reaction doing more but the dice weren't with me.
I knew the only way to shift the balance was to take out the Dakini. The lead Naffatun destroyed all three visible Dakini but was knocked unconscious in return.
I managed to get her back on her feet and re-form the fireteam, then moved the doctor up to the tech-coffin. But wait
wait what's this
betrayed by my own dice.
Shamash managed to open a tech-coffin and snag the supply box inside.
Cat tax! Grimlock decided to be hill terrain.
On my turn I managed to open a tech-coffin of my own, tying the game up.
My last turn, top of turn three, I had one choice. I had to kill his hacker that had a supply box and also score one of my objectives. My Najjarun peaked around the corner and killed the hacker with rifle fire...
The Najjarun spent the rest of my orders running up to the Lo Pan Noodle Hut, detonated it to achieve Sabotage, then made his way back to my deployment zone with the stolen supply box.
Thumbs up for Haqqislam.
Shamahs conceded when he realized that he couldn't do anything to tip the objective points back in his favour. Completely unintentionally I had used his HVT as a human shield. He was too low on orders to do much else so that was that.
