View Linked Report - CLICK HERE 150 POINTSFor the penultimate game of this week Shamash and I decided to take our TAGs and smash them into each other, in the greatest tradition of immature children playing with their toys.
We did a battle at Darpan, doing Highly Classified. This game was nuts. The Marut walked up the battlefield while my Ghulam cowered. Scarface and the Marut squared off and exchanged a barrage of gunfire, ending with Scarface taking a wound and Shamash running out of orders.
My Yuan Yuan dropped all over the place and blew up Netrods. Scarface then revved up and charged the Marut, closing to melee and getting involved in a fairly goofy duel. It went on for far longer than it should have with a staggering number of armour saves made.
Scarface finally fell to the Marut and, ironically, served as a barricade to Shamash's HVT. Shamash then made a tactical error - he opened fire on Cordelia's Nasmat and Yuan Yuan extraordinaire Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow with his Marut's heavy flamethrower. He caught Scarface with the flamer, blasting the corpse off the board, opening a path for Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow to close to melee and slay the Marut (barely).
With three orders left I was barely able to activate the Ghulam Doctor's Nasmat, hop over a shipping container between it and Shamash's HVT, and perform my secondary objective with my last order. I managed to barely squeak a draw on my very last order, which is always a great way to end it.
Shamash initiated a time-dishonoured tactic where he uses his biggest and most expensive model as a battering ram, and got into a vicious firefight with Scarface.
Meanwhile Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow flubbed her roll and had to deploy in my zone, but that meant I was able to squeeze her in behind the Ekdromoi.
I figured if I stood there and slugged it out at range the Marut was eventually going to wear me down, so I decided to have Scarface charge.
Scarface and the Marut *hammered* on each other but I just flubbed it - Scarface failed exactly the wrong ARM save at the wrong time and went down...
... and Scarface's big dumb corpse of a TAG plugged the gap. By now Shamash had managed to score his hidden objective and one of the primary objectives. I had scored one primary objective (Cordelia blew up that building on the right where she's standing) and the only way I could force a draw was to somehow get around the Marut, who was standing there with a heavy flamethrower and a bad attitude. I had to get the circled Nasmat into base contact with Shamash's HVT, which was his little bunny-bot behind the Marut, and the only model I had left who could conceivably hurt the Marut was Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow.
Shamash actually shot himself in the foot, though. In a bid to eliminate the Yuan Yuan and the Nasmat he hosed them repeatedly with the Marut's heavy flamethrower. This actually blasted the twisted metal scrap pile that was Scarface off the board, and Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow and the Nasmat each repeatedly dodged the wall of fire.
Miss Jade-Blue Afterglow, the beautiful maniac, dodged into base contact and took a swing on my last turn.
The brave/psychotic Yuan Yuan won the face-to-face CC roll, and the Marut got a natural 20! and a 6! and died!
At this point I had precisely three orders left. The only way to draw the game was to score either HVT: Inoculation or HVT: Retroengineering (IIRC? the one with the engineer making a WIP roll). I figured the Ghulam Doctor had a better shot, so the first two orders were spent having a Nasmat frantically scrabble over a cargo container, and with my final order managed to barely roll a success, forcing a draw.

All I can see is you both holding TAGs and bashing them together until only the feet remain lol. Thanks for the report!
