Main mission: Seize the Antenna

Druze win the first WIP check and choose the deployment zone.
The Steel Phalanx has the initiative and sets up first.

Achilles handled the onslaught by first sneaking through the fire corridor of a total reaction HMG Dronbot and the Brawler with Heavy Rocket Launcher. Through a clear side alley behind the Happy-Panda-Noodles-Stand, he charged towards the enemy position. The first shots rang out as he rounded the corner and harassed the Brawler and a Digger with his AP Spitfire.
Both fought back with Assault Pistol and Chainrifles. Unfortunately, the Chainrifle pierced Achilles' armour and wounded him badly. However, the Digger could no longer celebrate his good fortune. Continuing to shoot, Achilles withdrawed. The enemy Core Link Team was weakened by this, but not wiped out as planned.
On the same flank to the north, the Thorakitai Fireteam around Nesaie Alke had taken up position on the roof of MicroArms-Shopping. Thorakitai Michail had to clear away the enemy HMG Dronbot. Thanks to his Feuerbach, the job was done quickly. The northern side around Happy Panda Noodles was now clear of heavy long-range fire.
To the south, the Myrmidons, led by Officer Eudoros, were advancing between the blocks of houses. On top of a building in the Druze deployment zone waited the sniper Armand. He covered the entire centre and had also to beeliminated to safely take the antennas between the power generators. The Myrmidon warriors did what they do best and charged at Armand through their smoke grenades to rake him with their chainrifles. Amused, Armand shot straight through the smoke but missed and was covered in lead by the Myrmidons. His symbiote armour protected him for once, but he had to take cover. Shouting insults, both Myrmidons positioned themselves in the courtyard between the houses to hold down whatever may come. Armand, lying down, could no longer cover the field and so it should remain. Eudoros stood further back and officer Sybilla covered their backs.

With Myrmidons in his side, the middle Monstrucker threw his drop bears at the warriors. The Myrmidons virtually froze. One move and the mine would explode in both of their faces. Pleased with this reaction, the Monstrucker then moved to the antenna nearest to him by the generator block and activated it for 3 points. The second Monstrucker ran straight to the centre and mined the second antenna.
Officer Sybilla wheels around as a barely visible silhouette jumps around the advertising sign next to her. Blades clash as Saito Togan unmasks and lunges at the Myrmidoness. After hand-wringing, attacks and parries, Sybilla sinks her sword into Saito. Breathing heavliy she watched as the Ninja collapsed and vanished in a puff of smoke.
To the north, Achilles stood still immobilised at the back entrance to Happy-Panda-Noodles. His body no longer obeyed him. A reset did not work either. Chief Arslan took the opportunity and unloaded all the ammunition into Achilles with his Brawlers at his side.
With the heavenly smell of fried noodles and chicken, Achilles fell in this fight.
Back in the south, a Pathfinder Dronbot ran towards the Myrmidons in the courtyard and opened fire. The warriors scurried to the side, dodging the combirifle and the mine. They have held their position.

Intoxicated by her victory, Myrmidon Officer Sybilla took care of the drop bear at the antenna in the centre. Eudoros led her into the centre of the field, flanking the Brawler team with his MK12, killing the hacker and covering the centre with Eclipse grenades. The Myrmidons ignored he roar of another transport shuttle passing by. Both officers advanced through the smoke between the generators. They were now in the most dangerous place, the middle of the field right by the antenna. The Monstruckers still had to be dealt with. Officer Sybilla threw hermself into cover through the fire of a Chainrifle and shot the first one.
Finally behind them, the Dactyl Doctor could safely go to the first antenna on the Steel Phalanx side and activate it for Aleph's first 3 points. However, the antenna's console was damaged and it took a while for the Dactyl to give the green light.
Nesaie Alke's team repositioned to get a better view of the antennas. She herself climbed up a machine block to provide cover fire.

One Monstrucker was still active. He now attacked the two Myrmidons who were still holding Armand down. This time luck ran out on the warriors and they fell in the storm of enemy Chainrifle, but not before taking the Monstrucker with them.
Now with free reign, another gunner appeared on the tower next to Armands. Myrmidon Sybilla's hands did not find their way to her smoke grenades in the rush. She threw herself behind the protective wall but took a shot in the chest. Almost simultaneously Armand put on his sniper rifle. With Eudoros as his target. But the far more experienced Myrmidon noticed him and covered both snipers with a quick eclipse grenade.

The smoke cleared. Sybilla again provided smoke cover. Eudoros, however, fell to Armands precise shots. There was only one Myrmidon left in the field. Meanwhile, the badly wounded Sybilla took care of the antenna, earning Aleph an extra 3 points. They now desperately needed more firepower to prevent the Druze mercenaries from getting through. A total reaction Probot ran to them and covered the southern side. Even if he did no damage, he would be able to stop the enemy somewhat. Myrmidoness Sybilla squeezed into an alcove of the generator and made for barrage. Nesaie Alke and the Thorakitai also moved forward completely to react as best they could to enemy movement.

The first Pathfinder Dronbot started to move. Dronbot and Probot fired at each other. However, the dronbot overpowered the probot. The Brawler team also attacked from the other side. Myrmidon Sybilla, however, held her ground and took them out. Armand, meanwhile, took care of Nesaie Alke. The Pathfinder Dronbot, which had been very successful so far, dashed into the centre, right towards the antenna. Little arms flipped out of the chassis and tried to take over the antenna. The antenna's display lit up red. Access denied. Then the dronbot collapsed lifeless, scrapped by Sybilla's Nanopulser.

So what to say now. Im pretty happy with how the game went. Didnt make the mistakes from the previous one. The two Nat 1s on Achilles Armorsave hurt but Eudoros and the Myrmidon Officer more than made up for that.

This report took nearly the whole day. (Processing the pictures, making the art, write up and translate it.) But its fun and i think its a time worthwhile spending.
