Durgama Takeover

Returning to the AC2's ZoO in the Reliquary was a make up opportunity I was unwilling to turn down. There where reports Nomad had abandoned the position, and the JSA had taken it's place. With the brute force tactic no longer working, the tactic changed. We approached the field from the same line we retreated As a nearly invisible force. A tactical bow Ninja and a Hundun shock marksman arrived ahead of time and fully hunkered in to scout the zone. The Daofei lieutenant did not make the same gambit as the last who lost his life.

Patience is the only thing that would stay the JSA blade. JSA came forward first, looking for a target. Yojimbo came up the center line laying smoke to allow their Daiyokai to press the same line... But we did not bite. The range was not favorable, and to expose ourselves put our troopers, and the objective at risk. Desperate to bait a response, the Yojimbo revved and charged into center field. One of the Long Ya's in the backline rooftop took the opportunity to unleash a Panzerfaust shot, landing squarely as Yojimbo skid out and was left as a pile of smoking debris.

It was time. The Beasthunter sprang into action, sneaking around it's center box deployment and opening up with MORE PANZERFAUST on the Daiyokai peaking around the corner. Two shots rang out as a grunt and silence was heard from the corner.

From the hidden Ninja's vantage point, the Daiyokai had surely fallen. Hopping over the ledge to move on the Panoplies, he quickly learned his mistake, a Red Fury shot pierced his armor mid repel.

The Daofei lieutenant had the best angle to finish the job safely. Coming out of camo, the spitfire rained down on the Daiyokai, until the pile of armor stopped moving.

During this exchange a missile shrieked across the rooftops, as a comoflauged Ryuken cracked the shell off their backline. The Daofei was lucky, the missile went wide, giving him a chance to respond. Another exchange. The Daofei zipped across the roofs railing fully unloading into the exposed missile Ryuken, and handily brought him down.

The JSA responded with an Oniwaban smoke, but their forces where dangerously weakened. Their last Ryuken, taking advantage of the smoke, pushed to sabotage the tactical structure the Beast Hunter was hiding behind. But unfortunately, as it sprinted up the field, our hidden Hundun had MSV sight on the mad dash. A shot rang out, you could hear the bullet thud through the light armor, just before the D-charge beeped and exploded against the structure.

Attempting to reposition after the smoke, a coordinated effort to reposition into a stronger defensive hold on the AC2 almost got their lieutenant killed. A back line Long Ya revealed itself to blast a Panzerfaust to the peaking lieutenant tucked behind the building near the main objective.

We where on our back foot now. Their forces where dangerously thin, but we had neglected our mission. We had to act fast before their retreat, and our only option was to take the panoplies that the Oniwaban had a strong line on. Which the Zhencha was in prime position to handle on the center roof line. Climbing to the corner of the structure, hot shotgun pellets rained from the sky, connecting and dropping her.

With the lane clear, and very little time, the Daofei lieutenant scaled the building down to the open Panoplies and looted. The JSA saw the writing on the walls as they retreated from the battlefield.

Once again, victory was out of our grasp, but we where able to retake the ground.
