[RAMAH TASKFORCE CRITICAL INCIDENT REPORT – DIPLOMATIC FOLLOW UP IS REQUESTED FOR CLARIFICATION FROM NOMAD HIGH COMMAND]

RTF command has been alerted to a lethal firefight between one of its squadrons onboard the Raveneye and a squad under the control of the Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor.

The incident is believed to have occured two days ago.

The RTF squadron, consisting of a Maghariba and its infantry guard, were on board the Raveneye for military training exercises with Nomads.

But sources suggest miscommunications with Corregidor forces in the Port Battery lead to the squadron being treated as an invaders, with lethal force being used, resulting in the firefight.

Those same sources also suggest that the entire RTF squadron were either KIA or captured.

Below is a timeline of events which has been put together from what information can be gleaned thus far. As suggested above, diplomatic follow up is requested for clarification from Corregidor command.

– After identifying lethal fire coming from Corregidor forces, the RTF squad lieutenant orders the Maghariba tank to move up and engage with a Zond Remote hidden on his left flank. Heavy machine gun fire saw the remote put out of commission, but not destroyed.

– Lieutenant moved up the centre of the engagement area, leading his fireteam of Ghulams to capture a panoply in the centre of the battlefield. It was there the team discovered a Moran lying in wait with a shotgun. He was killed by the lieutenant, who himself lost his life under shotgun fire.

– Meanwhile a fireteam, consisting of 2 Janissaries and a Hortlak, were ordered to take a panolpy on the right flank. They manage to get into some cover before the enemy can fire back.

– The Corregidor forces then move their remotes/repeaters into hacking range of the Maghariba. An unknown hacker then takes control, turning it against the squad. It attacked the fortified Janissaries, killing one and forcing the others to get into a more covered position. The hacker then turns the Maghariba against the squad’s engineer. The engineer valiantly tries to get into range to perform the nessary reset, but was gunned down before he could. Corregidor Geckos then move behind the Maghariba and launch a panzerfaust into its rear armour, putting it out of action.

– The Corregidor Geckos then moved into the middle flank to gun down most of the advancing Ghulams with ferious efficiency. Those that survived the initial assault fired their artillery in response, with little effect. They too are soon gunned down.

– The Jannisaries attempted to capture their panoply, and manage to get within touch. However, they are then gunned down by the advancing Geckos. Whether they were KIA or captured is unknown.
