Durgama Takeover

Xue Kwon sighed to herself. She had been on camp for just one day, and already she hated it. Its why she never joined the military formerly. All this..uppity better then thou attitudes from the rank and file. If they were not lording over their rank or their shiny armor or whatnot, they were whispering about her while she walked past. Well…some of it wasnt so bad she thought as she recalled the last thing she overheard just a moment ago…

“Hey…hey there she goes…the fscking Oni..” hushed whispers from a Zhanshi to another, before the hushed response “I don’t know why command brought that monster here…you hear what she has gone out and fought right?”

Heh. Those kinda rumors and talking about her she could get behind. And its better that they didn’t know what command had paid her to do, Lesser men and woman balk at the kinda job she has, but its such a rush for her, besides the contract gave her a couple tickets, the get out of death free, kind. Without spending all her hard earned dough. All they wanted was her to hit an enemy point *Really* hard. That..she could do she chuckled to herself as her hand gripped the handle to her BAS (big arsed sword!)

An alarm run out over the comms, and the camp exploded into motion. Looks like the games were starting! She started to jog in the direction their commander had pointed her to be…

Round 1!
Combined Has initiative, and is going first
Yu-jing has Deployment, had Combined deploy first.

Rasht set up rather conservatively, wanting to try out a ton of different things, this wasn’t the normal Shavasti list no no, i saw a Chronotids, or whatever the big nasty hacker bug was. So i instantly knew that the mentor Seedling was going to try and hack the tag i brought again, I knew they were going to cast a big ol’net at me, but at this time i just didn’t know *how* big, But that was ok, i had a trick or two of my own.

…and one of those tricks he killed pretty much three orders in. The darn Grief operator took down my smoked shaolin, one of the anti material weapons to go beat on the darn AC2. It wasn’t my First choice, as we see later, but it was a backup so losing it instantly was kinda sad. The rest of his turn was an Umbra getting up and smoking my Guilang with hacking, then jumping up to where he was, then getting aro blasted apart by mass HMG Fire (my Shang-ji and Zhanshi Fireteam) They then moved some drones and set up for my go..

And my Turn started off with a BANG! I had my Tag go first, keeping out enough to heavy flame some mines and chase a libertos from hiding. When it was flushed out, my Fireteam HMG ZHanshi was able to gun it down. Then my Tag backed off and popped a Lootbox! then hung out for the REAL fun to begin. See After putting my Guilang down with his sneaky mind hacks, i swapped my beasthunter over to the main combat group…and used a good handful of orders to have it run full speed at the AC2.

Rasht had set up with hackers defending the point. Pretty sure the bet from the combined was to get the tag i was to send up there…but well, we hired the Beastgal to tear down a big target, and good lord did she. Managing to score BOTH her hits (cause the +1 Burst) with her EXP ccw antimaterial, was just rough, it took a few orders to get there, and the first swing i managed to get two wounds through…then the poor beasthunter was tagged by the spotlight hack. I knew i had one or two more shots at actually breaking the AC2 with her, so i just went for it. The second set of swings saw it take the rest of its life, and the beast hunter lived! the guided missle aro missed by rolling 20′. I ran the beasthunter around to try and take out two of the drones since i knew her life was limited, she had a good try to put two down, but they saved their armors, she failed. But hey! she had MISSION Complete!

Xue was breathing hard, she stared at the wreckage of the communications console in front of her. She knew she was in the thick of the enemy line, she knew that she just poked the proverbial hornets nest…or was that literal, she could never tell with the combined aliens. So she knew that her best bet was to just keep pushing hard into their line. There was not any going back. It was the all or nothing kinda day. So she pushed hard, bringing her heavy flamer to bear as she turned the corner letting loose a wave of destructive energy, only…to have her vision go to black and darkness welcome her.

Sin Zue watched form he rooftop across the field, she had just saw the Beasthunter take a hit to her face and body that left her laying on the ground smoking and unresponsive. It was a sight to see for sure. The ‘Scary Oni’ sure took it to that tower though, tore it down hard. Only to get smashed down by a CA drone. But Sin had respect for anyone that crazy, hell, she herself was that crazy, being a Ye Mao engineer. and it looks like the Combined wasn’t about to let what happened go without a fight…

Round 2!

This round, oh it had so much killing. The Eekedron snuck over and was able to hack the Blue Wolf in four orders, it then turned on my Shang-ji, and actually killed him (OUCH) my Warcor was able to Stun him with a flash pulse however, so that ended that nasty. He had some Tohaa sniper pop up and try some mean stuff, but ended up getting stunned by the warcor as well. Journalists, Who knew right? They then sent doctor worms assistant Nurse worm over to ensure the sniper didn’t go down easy if i committed to it. then they sent doctor worm far over to my left flank, getting ready for whatever nasty i send that way.

I blew a command token to get my tag back, with the goal of getting it and its newly looted grenade over to the other side of the map (AWAY FROM THE REPEATER REMOTE). Fortunitly, their was a lovely veteran rod order generator, i could speculative fire and after scoring a hit it caught the grief operator in it as well. Wounding them both! my Ye Mao then decided it was time to stop watching, and get killing. Super jumping down off the roof to get an angle on the Eekadron that hacked my blue wolf (which after chucking its grenade backed WAY up) she shot her last panzerfaust into it and blew it itty bitty drone peices. She then ran up and did some jumps to shoot the prone nurse worm and prone tohaa traitor sniper. She was able to get the nurse worm down, but the tohaa sniper hit her with a pistol and she passed the armor, failed the gut check!
Out of orders,i was feeling i was doing pretty good here!

Sin huffed and ducked low. She was sure she put the snake worm thing down, but that armored tohaa traitor was still up there. She had to buy her time. Comms chatter was that the enemy was making really good pushes to the left flank, and they were doing a good job of dodging and weaving giving the tag and HMG bearer no real shots. The warcor that was imbedded in was getting some dang good shots though. Not like that was stopping the Drone remote from hustling over. Sin knew they were ganna try and get their tag working for the Combined again, she just hoped that while they were distracted with chasing the tag she could finish the sniper in its nest and then work on their command in the bunker. They knew where they were, she just needed to get there…

Round 3.

Rasht played sneaky, Running doctor worm up to get the greif operator up, and then running the last drone remote up to get close to the tag. It had bumbled into my cheerleader remote, and the hacker isolated my remote before much could be done, and their drone got into positon for hacking my tag.

And on the last turn of the game, my Ye Mao jumped up, killed the Tohaa sniper, and put down two of the enemy drones hiding in the barracks before getting flash pulsed herself. And my Tag was able to run in and smash the drone, but not before the hacker got a total control off…and i failed one of the saves! with no real need to finish all my orders off cause i wasn’t going to be able to get anywhere, we called it there! Yu-jing Victory! 10-0 even…if the kill tally was totally in the combined favor this time around!
