Introduction

"...Sir we have multiple readings of unkown origin near a mechanical hangar. The doors seem to be open and an unauthorized ship entered."
"Sir i have a Tech-Sister on direct comms. She says some odd fellows from accounting showed up while she was inspecting some cargo due for planetside. It's ..."
"It's the god damn shas." screamed a young officer, franticly pointing at a camera screen.
"Oh god no, the Maiden is here. Her PR team must have snuck her out of the Transport&Transfer area." another one, close the the monitor, said. "Unbelievable, why..." she sunk back into her seat, defeated before even a shot was fired.

The Command&Control Center of the Teutonic Knights aboard the Raveneye went dead silent. Everybody turning to person standing calmly amidst the chaos. Father-in-command Karl-Heinz Russ, unshaken by every bit of information getting worse, looked some of the new transfers directly in the eyes. Others he taped on the shoulder as he calmly walked forward. Now with the center screen to his back, he was sure he had their full attention.

"Sisters, Brothers, this is nothing we can't handle. Everyone of us was chosen to be here to day. To witness the first blows on this Station to the Combined Army from which they wont recover. For there is no greater honor than to fight next to our maiden and for the greater good of humanity. We will not fail as we are with god and god is with us. So, now, how much help can we extend to the maiden."

"Sir, Pano forces on the ground are nonexistent. We ..." the young officers yelped.
"A Techsister, a monstruker supporting her, the pr team, .."
"I found a near by patrol and some bikers under our contract..." the veterans had gotten their resolve back first and had started searching the datalogs and open comm lines.
"Sounds like some Morats on this line, sombody speaking that...""Its two Morats bragging to some kind of hunter how many ... uh... Morats they have killed"
"I found the cargo list. Thank god its, preassambled TAGs meant for local Garrisons."

Karl-Heinz grinned. God was with them indeed.

"Wonderful news." he started marching to the exit. "Nothing is lost yet. Heat up the Remote Access pod. I would like to extend my personal welcome to the maiden."
"But Sir, ..."
"And get all the people you just listed notified of Joans position. She will know what to do. Oh, and get my a Montesa Knight. They love to fight the Army with such delightful wrath."

And so Karl-Heinz went and joined a fight, they hadn't expected. Alongside a hot podge of allys. Under the direct control of no other then Joan of Arc.
-What other wonders lay ahead- he thought to himself as his brain started to feel the connection to a Seraph.

The Lists

Unintentionally we had both created pretty fluffy lists for a first fight on the Raveneye. My opponent went full Shas infiltration force with a sphinx, 2 Taiga, 2Imposters and some camo and rem backup.

My list is pretty much what it soundslike in the fluff part. Joan doing her thing with as many wild and cheap irregular orders you can hope for. Leaving enough room to fill 2, yes TWO, Tags, surrounded with enough templates, mines and engis to fulfill most missions. I still have to do some tweaking but the general basis for my TAG-Lists is very close to what i fielded here

Battle

I had recorded the evening but im pretty new to video and editing ... so the 4,5hr video looks like filmed on 240p sadly.

Since its pretty much a lost cause to try to find good picutres in that video in decent quality i will only give a brief summary next. Sorry.

Pretty fitting music in terms of title, album and orchestral feel ^^. Best listend to while reading the battle details and the aftermath for Karl-heinz

The Outcome

Galvanized by the pressence of Joan, the group of strangers took up very defense positions with only the krakots sticking to what they do best. being as close to the frontline as possible, ready to strike.

The imposters sadly struck down Karl-Heinz Seraph within only 2 orders so he was forced to watch the fight unfold from the eyes of the remotes present. Nobody says you cant link to those if you want to watch joan&cheerleaders fighting uphill from the 3rd order on ;)

The sphinx caught me by suprise after already loosing nearly 100pts to the first blows of the imposters. it burned down the chaff units and dug down in the center room in b2b with the coffin in sf. lucky for me a krakot was close and dinged her heavy for 2 wounds while going down. i nulled my monstruker, cause math hard -.-, and barly managed to shut down the sphinx with the tik.

Imp 2 started killing my right flank and an engi attempted a repair mission but Luck was on my side and he failed long enough till orders where out.

I heavly used joan and coordinated orders on my 2nd. stoping and Taiga threat and locking down the 2nd imp. Tik got pushed forwards risky close to a camo marker. after the game i found out it wasnt a hacker but man did that feel bad.

Shas tried to imposter my stuff but helot and beasthunter traded up. My 2nd turn was spent coordinated some more to get tik in b2b with antenna and join in b2b with coffin and atleast joan in sf.

shas did a last hurray against joan and the tik. killing the tik but not removing it and dinging joan. my last turn was spent tryng to repare the take for a b2b score on the antenna but no luck. missed opportunity to just dodge in b2b with techbee.

Rather tight game with some hefty hits early on and a slow but steady grind back uphil from me. Always threatend by anything i had to leave alive. joan and tik came through big time tanking when it mattered.

Aftermath

Teutonic Father-in-Command Karl-Heinz Russ; originally trained as a mere Marksmen; accomplished in battle and trained in remote control warfare as a reward; send back to a deskjob for the administration of the orders treasury; back at the helm of a TAG at an age others would tend the monestrys gardens; taken out of the fight within mere minutes...

"A shamfull display, that hopfully doesnt affect my men."

He thought, but when he linked up with the remote presence of the rems remaining out of curiosity, he was shook even more than from that fatal hits feedback.
Joan had formed a coherent line of defense with the haphazard force present. Standing firm against Imposters, a Sphinx and even managing to go an the attack and securing the sensor arrays.
- How does she do this... Why is she even here... - Commander Russ was sure, had he not been in remote control mode, he would have shed tears.
Tears of joy, for he from this day forward would be sure of one thing, he didnt even knew he wanted.

Joan was with them, extending gods grace through her precense to mortals, toiling with things they might never fully understand. Being closer to god than any of them could ever dream.
