Durgama Takeover

Officer codename "Neko" had arrived late to Gekidan research center very late. While it was not entirely her fault she was reprimanded and sent on late night guard duty in her O-Yoroi TAG along with another one. Command reasoned that two TAGs would make better guards at night allowing the other troops to rest.

It was at first light of dawn when her TAG sensors picked up something. She used the TAGs sensors to zoom in and spotted the faint outline of an alien humanoid. The Shavasti were here. She motioned for her teammate to hold position and used her long range optics observe the enemies approach. They must not have noticed that they had been spotted as they approached her patrol sector. Seeing there deployment commander "Neko" gave they order to take positions to counter the enemies intrusion.

The enemy seemed eager and overly bold as they launched into the attack. Several of the aliens tried to make a dash towards their objectives but the O-Oyoroi TAGs caught them in the open gunning them down. Then the enemy retailed with some heavy weaponry from the rooftop. The O-Oyoroi TAGs took some minor damage but held up against the weapon fire. More Shavasti tried to advance but either fell to the TAGs reaction fire or did not make much headway.

Having blunted the Shavasti's reckless advance the O-Oyoroi TAGs went on the offensive. Eventually they took out the Shavasti with the heavy weapon on the rooftops after several burts of HMG fire before commander "Neko" advanced towards the objective. With only a few enemies left she took and chance and jumped out of the her TAG briefly dodging fire and accessed the terminal that the enemy had been trying to reach. They data she found revealed to her the enemy agent. Quickly commander "Neko" jumped back into her TAG and charged the enemy agent who happened to be within reach, ignoring the small arms fire of the remaining Shavasti as it bounced off the TAG's armor. A swift swing from the O-Yoroi TAG's giant sword ended the enemy agent.

The remaining Shavasti troops tried in vain to advance on the objectives but the O-Yoroi TAGs once again found their marks as the Shavasti troops were unable to dodge the O-Yoroi TAGs reaction fire. With all the Shavasti troops either dead or incapacitated the battle was over just as the sun cleared the horizon.
