Durgama Takeover

0-12 incident report. July 13 around 1800

The details are sketchy as the Nomads are being their normal helpful selves. Apparently there is a Shasvasti cell that has my sleeves data. I found this out when they shot at me when I approached to find out the details of the fire fight. Between the various selfies and live feeds from their comms I’ve managed to piece together what I believe to have happened.

The two forces met in one of the more civilian areas of the port battery. The CA had what we believe to be a Harris of Jayth cutthroats led by Sargosh, supported by a red fury for their point man. They also had a fireteam of Noxes with what appears to be Aida Swanson backed by the firepower of a multi sniper rifle and a HMG. To further cement confusion and allow them to proseper they had a quartet of Taighas, a pair of seed soldiers, and a Cadmus operative. Oh, also apparently me armed with a boarding shotgun, a mono blade, and a ginger haircut.

At the start of the battle the Taigha’s charged forward as they are want to do backed by the Jayth Harris move up along the side of the battlefield. The Nox fireteam stayed behind to protect the closer beacon to them. Over all they didn’t achieve much taking out a nomad and one of the PALs.

The Nomads replied with Finishing off the Taigha’s having one of their members perform a sacrafice play to launch a pitcher to get a repeated near the oncoming Jayth fireteam. Once they were in repeater range the Hackers of the Nomads spotlit Sargosh and then dropped a rocket on them. Killing Sargosh and the point man Jayth with the Red Fury.

The CA tried to complete the mission but an error with their comm units combined with the now revealed Speculo Killer over throwing a smoke grenade meant the Jayth didn’t have time to secure the beacon before the nomads could react.

The Nomads reacted with poise and precision. They finished off both the remaining Jayth and the Speculo to secure their beacon and then cautiously moved forward. They lost one of their mutants as it tried to force the fireteam from it’s overwatch. Then showing a great deal of caution they attempted to deal with what at the time they thought were just mines. One of said Mines turned out to be a seed soldier laying in ambush. Combining that with a mis communication with combat dropping troopers meant there assault stalled for the moment.

The CA in the end tried a last minute gambit with a Cadmus trying to land in the rear field that resulted in said soldier dying like a punk. At that point the CA attempted to just hold off the final push of the Nomads before withdrawing. In the end they failed as the Nomads being used to Zero G were able to maneuver with skill avoiding the fire from the remaining CA soldiers. Securing the beacon they were not able to fully finish off the Shasvasti force, I am sure we will see this cell again.
