Durgama Takeover

Wait, I don't know where I was going with that. Let's just skip to the part where they throw down.

Note: we were playing a scenario from another theater(Firefight) instead

We forgot to take pictures of deployment

My opponent won the LT WIP-off and took deployment, leaving me with initiative.

I open with the Marut only to immediately get thwarted by Eclipse Smoke. An oversight in deployment allows the Garuda to arrive from the rear safely. The plucky remote goes on a rampage, murdering 5 models by itself before ending in suppression.

The Missile Launcher Sukeul on the rooftop tries to duel the Zayin TR bot but fails due to sheer dumb luck. The hits it got in bounced while it lost a wound and its Symbiomate for its efforts. Something similar happened with a K1 Combi Sukeul on the ground trying to take out the Garuda in their rear, barely managing to finally knock it out on the very last order

The headless phantom Marut obliterates the Sukeul on the high ground, before making up for its failure on the first round by avenging the Garuda and getting rid of the Makaul . This squashed the last hope for the Tohaa as they have no attack pieces left.

All that's left is to pick up some random booty from a panoply(DA CCW lol) and withdraw to overwatch positions

As a last ditch effort the last remaining Makaul rushes forward Impetuously. The Draal Saboteur goes for the panoply on the opposite flank from the Marut, dodging a mine but whiffing on the button. He decides to go after the nearby Myrmidon but is stopped by smoke and ends in an exposed position.

The Libertos just round the corner from the Draal tries to take it out but fails, leaving the Zayin to complete the job. Meanwhile the Marut eliminates the last Makaul from afar. With empty lanes all across the table the Proxy Mk.1 moves up to a panoply while its trusty Yudbot runs all the way across the table to the inactive Garuda(bagging Test Run). The Garuda gets fixed while the Mk.1 upgrades its own Mimetism to -6. As the last actions of my turn(and also the game), the deadly pest shanks a nearby dirtnapper to score me Extreme Prejudice as well

Alaidra throws in the towel after this. Technically he's not in Retreat but he has no chance left of doing anything at all. It got quite one-sided after the 1st round and made me feel a little bad for him.
