Durgama Takeover

*Tavish McBeardlington struggled as the controller attempted to get her Antipodes into EV suits, the fact that the suits masked the wolves natural pheromone bonded intellange was not helping, Big Ted was easier, they had smeared honey on the inside of the helmet and quickly zipped him up as nature took its course.
Later Tavish sat in his AACB (Ariadnan Approved Carboard Box) waiting, command had said to keep watch for Haq forces attempting to sabotage the rail cannon. “why would they be up here? They were busy squabbling over some facility with Aleph”.
It felt to Tavish that there was a whole lot of infighting, when they should be worrying about the extra-galactic alien conglomerate, If he could see the threat and manage to put aside grudges to work with nations that had killed his people in colonial war and seeded (not particularly) civil wars, surely the nation of peace and healing could.

Turn 1:

Ariadna seized the initiative and like sprinters, the various ‘podes and dog warriors raced towards the Haq DZ, intent on stopping them from moving into better positions while a loaned Blackjack lumbered across the rooftops of the left flank blasting a hapless Lasiq and a Kum biker, before setting up in suppression, while a very confused Mormaer wondered why Henrietta the lunch lady had decided to come out onto the hull with a tray of biscuits and entered suppression.

Big Ted charged headlong into a group of Muyib, only managing to take one down with him before being put down by rifle fire, while The Antipodes bounded up the board and into CC with the Asawira. The S.A.S (still yet to be named) burst from his AACB and fired into a spot next to him were the air looked werid, compleatly failing to damage either of the Daylami as there optical camouflage dissipated, having to dive into CC to finish one off before being taken out by return fire from the other.

Unfortunately for Haq the one lost Muyib had been there lieutenant, with fire teams broken and orders irregular they attempted to push the tide of feral beasts back, getting the Asawira eaten by Antipodes and almost there entire Ghulam compliment torn apart by the Mormaer. within this madness one Daylami risked it all, turning to face the Blackjack, ignoring Uxia emerging from the AACB next to her, she hefted her panzerfaust and made ready to fire. The Blackjack mirrored her, hefting a panzerfaust of his own. As the blowback cleared there was a noticeable lack of Daylami.

Turn 2:

Hairy MacClary (the dog warrior) ran into the group of Muyib and there newly revived lieutenant, revealing his true form as he ran and wantonly firing chain rifles he managed to take out to of the three before being dispatched. Sparky on the right flank dodged the shots of the remaining Lasiq and moved into finish off the last remaining Ghulam, losing a wound in the process. Uxia managed to take the last Daylami from a neighbouring rooftop.
The Mormaer could feel that there was something going on with Henrietta, as Georgina, one of the maintenance techs climbed onto his roof and started to fiddle with a panel.

With orders limited (4 left) Haq attempted to do some damage. Henrietta familiar lunch lady form was replaced by the menacing shape of a Fiday, The Mormaer had been ready for this and managed to fend of the blow at his neck. With all other units threatened or engaged Haq was left with precious few options and chose to end the turn.

Turn 3:

Sparky (now in beast mode) scaled the side of the Lasiq’s snipers nest and tore him apart as in the streets below the 112 patched up those Antipodes that could be saved.
The Blackjack delt with the last remaining Muyib, taking far more shots than was necessary and hitting with significantly less, his American was showing
Tavish Mc Beardlington, hearing the cry of betrayal let out by the Mormaer, sprang from his AACB and raced to the side of the roof on which he had hidden, seeing the Mormaer locked in combat with the Fiday he made a choice, the Mormaer wore Tessium armour, the Fiday did not. Tavish’s shotgun slugs tore through the Fiday, Henrietta was toast.

With the entire Haq force destroyed the Ariadnans let out a cheer of triumph, As Georgina calmly made her way back to the airlock, congratulating the soldiers and expressing her shock at the true nature of Henrietta.
