In an Effort to keep off the heat of the Hassassins against the Steel Phalanx, a small incursion of OSS Members were sent to gather supplies from Haqqislam Hangars.

The Hassassins however were prepared and their Lieutenant could get them into a good position from the get go.

Operation Whitewind - Deployment

ROUND 1

+++Turn 1: Hassassins+++
Hassassins kick off the fight with a severe misstep. The Muyib HRL tries to fight the Marut. Due to the low-visibility and saturation of the Forest, it's a miss on behalf of the Muyib. The Marut hits the Muyib with an explosive round from the HMG thanks to its MSV2. The Muyib saves none of his saves.

Meanwhile Leila Sharif with her Ghulam Team grab the southern (left) Supplies in the Forest. The Muyib Doctor with his Lasiq Duo move to the middle, but don't get close enough to grab the objective.

In the north the Shakush Duo moves into Position with suppressing fire, locking down a part of the panoply.

+++Turn 2: OSS+++
In the North the Danavas skimps on Orders, instead of Cybermasking she just moves to the right, trying to dodge a Daylami Panzerfaust. She is hit, but only goes unconscious.

In the center the Yadu and Rudra fireteam moves forward. The Rudra deploys its Mine Dispenser, locking down the Muyib from closing in on the Panoply. The Rudra then forces a Lasiq to dodge out of the way, with the help of assisted fire, allowing the Yadu Hacker to open the Panoply. Afterwards Rudra takes the Supplies from the Yadu, allowing him to move to the northern Panoply. Due to a miscalculation in firing lines, the Shakush got a whole Suppressing fire hit including a crit on the Yadu. He fails two of the ARM saves and dies instantly.

Thanks to its tactical awareness and total terrain, the Marut moves swiftly through the forest, stopping the Ghulam Fireteam from retreating to a safer position later.

Operation Whitewind - End of Round 1

ROUND 2

+++Turn 3: Hassassins+++
The Shakush tries to dislodge the Rudra Gunbot, however due to a great deal of luck and the help of assisted fire, the only fight each other to a standstill, each down a wound. Instead the central Muyib Doctor makes use of the Rudra's facing, gunning it down with a shotgun.

The second Yadu dies to the Lasiq's shotgun, placing a drop bear close to the husk of the Gunbot, preventing anyone from approaching it easily.

Using the short lull in combat, the Shakush pilot rushes to the Panoply, and removes the supplies, sheltering them in the TAG.

+++Turn 4: OSS+++
Parvati spring into action and rushes towards the center, staying out of sight until she was clsoe enough to gun down the Muyib in a hail of SMG fire. The returning shotgun fire didn't leave a dent. With her path clear, she quickly restored the Rudra, although in a short fight it lost to the Lasiqs shotgun again.
Parvati repaired it again, allowing it to dodge to a more suitable position.

In the south the Marut further rushed through the dense forest, taking out a Lasiq in the process. The Marut was now in a position where it could soon try to regain the lost supplies.

Operation Whitewind - End of Round 2

ROUND 3

+++Turn 5: Hassassins+++
Due to the Rudra being conscious again, and not wanting to risk the supplies to bad luck, Yara with her Bioimmunity tried to take the Rudra in a firefight, but instead was shot into unconsciousness herself.

In the South the Leila placed an E/M mine and with her Ghulams went into suppressive fire positions with a coordinated order, trying to buy the supply carrying Ghulam Doctor some time. The Daylami also moved into a position to waste some of the Marut's time.

+++Turn 6: OSS+++
The Marut Charges through the forest, taking out the Daylami while moving through the open. With a bit of clever positioning the Marut could take out Leila and a Ghulam, although the third Ghulam in the torrent of flame stood fast. Instead of further wasting time on that Ghulam, the Marut dodged into a position close to the supply box, triggering the mine but evading it.
A hail of Ghulam fire with shotgun shells took two wounds off the Marut, but its flamethrower took out all Ghulams besides the cornered lieutenant. The Marut took the supplies and left.

Operation Whitewind - End of Round 3 and Game

+++Afterbattle Report+++
Depsite a few missteps on the OSS side, a bit of luck helped the Rudra keep the middle section of the map on lockdown.
The Shakush could've been a bit more aggressive, and the viral theme "Going Viral" probably wasn't the best of ideas versus this specific army list, where most units have a higher BTS than ARM and all of the actual combat units have shock immunity.

The Marut and the Rudra were by far the MVPs of the game, with the light shotguns being a close second, causing the most havoc in the OSS ranks. The Shakush was supposed to be easy to take down, however the loss of the Danavas hacker quickly threw that plan out of the window.

In the End it was a semi-close, but very fun fight. The second round definitely determined the outcome of the game!
