Durgama Takeover

The Daoying clambered onto the roof. Her cloaking device shimmered under the rain. “An overview of the surroundings are just what we need to be able to destroy the AC2.” Qi Ru thought.

These missions have been hard. The human sphere was supposed to prepare to fight the EI. But the lack of proper planning amongst the nations have disrupted the fight against the alien threat.

Pan Oceania, with all their advancement and power, fail to realise how their technology and relics should be shared for the betterment of human society in general.

“No matter.” Qi Ru muttered under her breath.
No matter how hard it gets, the Invincible soldiers will carry on the Emperor’s will.

Her forces were new, as was she towards this theatre of war. Being commissioned at a young age does not change the fact as an Invincible, she has to traverse through the most dangerous terrain and combat zones, even for on the job training.

Except, some of these trainings do cost lives. Such is the life of humanity during these warring times.

And today was such a day. Leading only a small team with Tai Sheng and a handful of Zhanshis, as well as a Hulang, they were tasked to destroy an AC2 while defending theirs.

The rain hampered her vision and thus her information.

As her team got into positions, she could hear the shouts and screams that echoed below her. Gunfire was heard and her team comms to her.

“Damn! It’s Joan!” Tai Sheng shouted as one by one, Zhanshis fell to her blade.

“White Tiger, engage the enemy now! Right flank!” Qi Ru ordered, but the Hulang moved on ahead towards the enemy AC2. “The mission comes first Lieutenant!”

The Daoying frowned as another Zhanshi fell to Joan’s glowing sword. She knew the mission was of utmost importance, and their comrades will all gladly give their lives to the state Empire.

“Affirmative. Complete your mission and return to assist.”

The Hulang took out both D charges and attached it to the AC2. However the AC2 was too tough and it was only slightly damaged.

“The mission is lost, commander. My D charges are not enough.” The Hulang commed back.

“We have to withdraw now!” Qi Ru ordered. “Fall back team!”

The Hulang then drew his monofilament sword and engaged in close combat with the knights and slew one of them before being overwhelmed by two others.

Tai Sheng fell back too after being severely injured. Their mission failed as Joan and the remaining knights cut through their AC2.

The only thing the Daoying can do now is to fall back and bring back as many men alive to fight another day.
