From what we could decrypt of the data we had obtained from the communications between the bow section of the Raveneye and the ground station, it appears that the Pan Oceanians had not been completely honest in there logs of what was being brought to Concilium. There were multiple references to something they cryptically referred to as “The Relic” which they had spirited away from Paradiso during the fall of the Teutonic monastery on that planet. Shortly after, the Combined activity surged in the Concilium system culminating with the attack on the Raveneye station and the current predicament. All signs indicated Cameliard would be the likely location of this “relic” the Pan Oceanians had secreted away. I sent a status report to Naami, and gathered a team for some quick information extraction at Cameliard. However, as as the team's shuttle was landing I received an urgent message from Naami. Through her contacts in the Durgama Defense Coalition she learned Yu Jing was sending a strike team to Cameliard within our window of operation. Further the team would be lead by the Head Durian Inspector of the ISS to investigate some dangerous vegetation which they claimed had its origins in Cameliard. Just great I thought, the only thing louder than the ISS announcing a covert operation is a Pan Oceanian Knight giving a silent prayer.

I had tangled with this head inspector a number of times in the past, and he seemed to have a deep mistrust of Tohaa, which largely seemed to come from his even deeper inability to tell us apart from the a durian, let alone a Shasvastii. Further knotting up the situation was that this inspector was also the front face of Yu Jing in the defense coalition, so if things went too badly here, Naami was going to have a very difficult time maintaining negotiations with the human factions.

It was a gamble whether or not these Yu Jing operatives would fire at first site of us, but we had roll those dice and bet everything on red. As the team's shuttle landed and approached the storehouse they noticed numerous Yu Jing signatures come up on their displays shortly before a proclamation of “Hostile Durians detected! You are cleared to fire!” could be heard from the Hsien's location. Wouldn't you know it, snake eyes, and black.

The Kealtar took cover inside of a large biomedical building on our right flank, hoping that her skills would not be required here yet again. One of the Kaauri and the Chaksa took a position alongside the garage building. The Digger also worked his way forward on the opposite side of the garage. The Draal had advanced to take cover behind an abandoned taxi, while the rest of her team, the Kamael and the deeply suspect Draal, took cover behind a cafe table. Between the Draal and her triad stood the other Kaauri, hoping to advance up the table before anyone caught it out in the open. Slightly further back behind another cafe table was the Kerail Preceptor with his Surda taking position near a large research vehicle.

A team of four Kuang Shi and their wrangler took cover behind a local City Hopper branch, while just further closer to our lines from them was Yue Fei himself, leading a fireteam along with a Zhanying, and a CSU. On their right flank was an Authorized Bounty Hunter team, with two its member taking cover on top of a makeshift shelter. There was that odd signature we had seen before coming up as Trisha from accounting, though its signature had all the official codes to make it appear to be part of the Yu Jing forces, the cover seemed to be a slapped together edit of the old signature run through an auto translator.

Perhaps sensing that the cover would soon be blown Trisha peeked out to trade fire with the bounty hunter's SMG, scoring a hit which took the human out of the fight.

Further back the Kerail attempted to obscure the sight of the bounty hunters, but failed the canister hit a rock and bounced away somewhere ineffectual. This prompted the to Draal cautiously advance to the side of the armory and exchange fire with the bounty hunter who had taken up a sniping position. After several exchanges, the bounty hunter toppled over. With the path of her team still blocked by the remaining bounty hunter the Draal dashed from cover to get a bead on it before racing back, however the mercenary scored a lucky hit, and it took a catastrophic effort by her symbiomate to coax her armor into absorbing the horrible adhesive round and not leave the Draal stuck in place. However, her next burst removed the mercenary as a threat.

The rest of the Draals team moved up to join her next to the walls of the Armory. With the path no longer covered by the bounty hunters, the Digger also ran to the walls of the Armory. The Kaauri which was still out in the open, laid down suppressive fire as the other Kaauri and the Chaksa advanced the the guard tower.

Hsien Yue Fei's team advanced with the Zhanying taking point and sending one of its madtraps towards the Tohaa which had been impersonating Trisha. As they continued their advance the Tohaa dodged, managed to get stuck, but, as they continued to advance, managed to become unstuck.

The Kuang Shi advanced an put up some smoke to obscure the advance of the Hsien who used it to shoot the Kaauri in the open. A previously unseen signature popped up and moved to the armory doors revealing itself to be a Ninja as it opened the doors. With the doors open the Kuang Shi rushed in, but the noise alerted our operative on the other side of the building and both the Draal and Digger both ducked inside. Seeing the danger our operatives presented to the ISS forces, Hsien Yue Fei opened fire on them, the Digger was able to dodge out of the way, and the Draal's armor was killed, but managed to save her from harm as she found better cover out of sight. The ninja moved into the armory, with the intention to kill the Draal, but was unsuccessful.

The Hsien left cover to attempt another shot at the Digger, but the prospector once again managed to jump out of the way closer to the Hsien.

The Digger, tired of being shot at, rushed at the Hsien, causing the Hsien and the CSU to dodge, however, at the last minute the digger swung its chain riffles around to the Kuang Shi and their handler. As the blizzard of metal fragments cleared the air, it could be seen that the digger was only successful in mortally wounding one of the Kuan Shi, but had managed to kill their handler. The Ninja had managed to avoid being hit at all. Seeking to give itself some defense, but not wanting to expose itself to the Kuang Shi's chain rifles, the Draal inside the building placed a mine.

The suspicious Draal moved to the corner of the armory, to once more reveal the enigmatic Tohaa as she fired on the Hsien, managing to wound him and drive him back.

The Tohaa who had taken out the bounty hunter rounded the fence it was behind and fired on the Zhanying, taking a vicious cloud of burrowing nano-bots to the face but killing the imperial agent before succumbing to the nano swarm.
Wanting to press the attack on the Hsien while it was still on its backfoot, the Kerail raced forwards. As the Hsien dodged out of the path of the beast, the Kerail commanded his symbiobomb to unleash a lethal pheromone dose onto the Ninja in the armory.

As it ran past one of the entrances, a Kuang Shi wounded the Surda with its chain rifle, knowing the beast didn't have much left life left in it Kerail sent it leaping over the head of the CSU, and into the Hsien. However, the veteran Yu Jing agent was able to expertly dodge out of the beasts path, allowing it to collapse were it fell.
With the Hsien close to making his way into the armory while our team was still extracting information, I saw two possible outcomes. One our forces retreat back or are killed, which would hinder the investigation, or Two our forces kill the Imperial agent, which would hinder our continued alliance. I don't think Naami would appreciate explaining to our coalition forces why a coalition commander had been killed by our team.
Sensing there was only really one way left to neutralize the threat, I dropped in, recognizing that if I failed the vengeful agent would likely spend every resource to hunt me down. I crept as close as I could before shot and took cover behind a power generator. However my e/mitter shot caught the unsuspecting durian botherer full in the back and locked him in is armor as effectively as one of earths mummies in its sarcophagus. Only there were no archaeologists around to break open this tomb.

The ISS team was in complete disarray, their leader's once bellowing orders now coming out in spurts of static and garbled noise. One of the remaining Kuang Shi moved to target the Draal who tried to dodge away but was brought down by brainwashed penal soldier's pistol.

Sensing the Draal being attack the Kamael and Kerail scrambled to get in the room to continue the operation. Perhaps hoping that a victory here would result in its freedom the Kuang Shi then ran to deluge their position with shrapnel. That hope for freedom was answered in the form of the Draal's mine that blasted the human apart as the Kamael and Kerail made their way into the armory. Another Kuang shi attempted to drive them out, and this time was successful. Taking both operatives out of action with its pistol, and, for the moment, secured the armory for Yu Jing.

From my location I could see the another Kaung Shi was about to make its way into the armory. I did not like the idea of the team having to deal with an additional Kuan Shi so I took the opportunity to take it out of the equation.

Taking over command of the situation the Kealtar rushed out from the biomedical bay. Moving in unison the Kealtar, Kaauri, Chaksa, and the enigmatic Tohaa moved towards the armory with the Kaauri advancing to see the Kuang Shi, killing the human before it could duck out of sight.

The Kaauri then attempted to take out the last of the mobile Yu Jing operatives but the CSU proved to be far more mobile, and retreated from view as the remains of our team consolidated there position in the armory.

With the last hopes of trying to secure the armory for the ISS, the CSU deployed some biomechanical modification and began crawly up the walls of the armory to slip around the Kaauri. The little construct fired its nanopulser as it was disable by 2 shotgun blasts, but the CSU appeared to have some better protection than would have been expected. Still raging inside his armor, the Hsien could not find the calm focus required to reboot his armor. With little time left the CSU dashed over to blast the enigmatic Tohaa, but even with the Chaksa dodging out of the room, was unable to clear the armory as the Kealtar secured the a promising fragment of information.
