Durgama Takeover

The men and women of the Ariadna Expeditionary force were exhausted, but the enemy remained so the job was undone.

'All forces to the Bow to repel Combined Army forces.' was all the orders said. No one can ever say Ariadna wouldn't do their duty.

'Time is running out, we're up against the wall, things look dire. It would be easy to give in to despair, but that's not the Ariadnan way. We'll go down fighting if we have to and we'll take three of those alien invaders with us for everyone that falls. For Dawn and all of humanity!'

OOC: I don't know Aleph well enough to be super descriptive and this is my opponents first time making his own list and playing his own army, so details on the enemy forces are a little light. Sorry for that.

The link team deployed on the left with an Antipode pack, while the Dynamo, Dog Warriors and Irmandinhos deployed on the right. Streloks forward in the midfield.

Aleph forces spread fairly evenly, but focused on the left.

Our attack opened with the Irmandinho engaging the gunbot with an HMG. The bot was disabled in short order. I approached him after the battle about the non-issue equipment and was informed it 'Must've fell off the back of a truck'. I accepted this explanation.

On the right the Dynamo wounded the Yadu while the Dog Warriors laid down smoke. Using the concealment of the smoke our second Irmandinho accessed the console.

Now that I knew the location of the rouge AI, I ordered the link team to shift to the right, securing the midfield for our forces.

The Antipodes then moved forward to protect the second console.

The enemy began to move forward promoting counterfire from the link team. It does not appear any significant casualties occurred, but the enemy advance stalled. A paramedic did move to heal the injured Yadu, but enemy forces failed to make any significant gains.

I ordered a push on the right to reach the target server. Dog warriors led the push but were wounded in the process without impacting the enemy. Changing tactics the link team moved into the central structure and engaged the enemy causing multiple casualties.

The advance on the right failed to seize the ground but enemy forces were wounded and in disarray. They fled the right flank leaving only a few troopers to cover our approach and consolidated on the left. Apparently intending to make a push there soon.

The Dog Warrior engaged the enemy overwatch elements clearing the way for our demo team. A Spetsnaz dropped in and blew the target console while an Irmandinho blew a second console just to be sure. I then ordered our Strelok to move to the left to counter any enemy advance in that direction.

There was a push on the left, but the enemy forces were crippled. One enemy fell to our return fire and the remaining troopers fled the field.
