Deployment

Joe won intitiative, choosing first activation. I elected for second deployment on the side with bridges near the edge of the deployment zone.
CSU rolled +3 PH. I tried to funnel the Alguacil toward my one model set for ARO, the Mk.4

Deployment-the boundary line between the civilian district and the ammunition and supply facility

Turn 1

"Wait, why are we engaging in a civilian zone?" Shakti relayed with ALEPH command.
"So they are terrorists? What do you mean, 'No'?!"
"Run their ID's again."
"No, I'll get the Shukra to scan them."
"If this is all a misunderstanding, I swear..."

Jaguars and Alguacil fireteams move forward to pull from the Panoply.
Jaguars stay to guard the HVT, the Alguacils retreat to range and cover.
The Geckos post up covering left two fire lanes in suppressive.

Nomads take control of the board

The Danavas finds a lane clear of AROs to drop a repeater by each Gecko, but accidently gets the Sombra (in camo but was revealed by opponent) and Jazz in range.
Relying on the Sombra to stay in camo, Shakti tries to trinity Jazz, but loses and goes unconscious
Parvati spends 2 orders getting Shakti up, who is now stuck in Gecko range.
Shakti risks it to take out Jazz, but one hit from the Gecko and one from Jazz forces Parvati to heal her again.
I switch focus to defensive, the Mk.4 tries take out orders, hitting the Alguacils, luckily taking out the LT.
More luck, a hit on the Gecko burns through the armor with continuous.
Out of orders, but seeing an opening, Shakti reveals as the LT to try at Jazz again, this time knocking her out.

Mk.4 lines up a shot on the Gecko
One round gets inside the armor and burns out the Gecko

Turn 2

"What do you mean they have a better quadronic network than us?" The Alguacil exclaimed incredulously. "That's bull crap! That blonde bimbo is in the open. Make her regret deploying. Dismantle their formations."

With slight shifts to cover gaps in the fire lanes, the HMG Zond forces Shakti to go to ground with 1 wound.
The clockmaker, moving forward to fix the Gecko, takes a pot shot at the Danavas, scoring a lucky headshot, leaving her dead before she hits the ground.
Three orders are spent clearing the repeater pinning down the Sombra, the missile zond finishing it off.
Sombra pulls from the Panoply.

Shakti's team tries to move toward the HVT, but the Yadu is stuck behind and loses the firefight with the HMG Zond.
Fireteam broken, Shakti tries to hack the HVT but fails.
The Mk.4 finally takes out the HMG Zond.
The left flank fails to take out any more specialists

Turn 3

"Fine, I'll check their ID myself...what does this even mean "Unexpected file type?"
"If this comes down to a corrupted authentication data chain because of an Aracne conversion protocol, I won't hear the end of it from Command"
"This is Lieutenant Shakti to Corregidor command. I am requesting a cease f---hrgk!"

Mk.4 withstands a full assault until the missile Zond takes him down with the advantage of range.
The lead Gecko charges across the table, moving into close range with Shakti.
She hits it with an non-lethal E/Marat, but not before taking another wound from the gecko.

In Loss of Lieutenant
Left flank clears the Sombra and Alguacil in the open.
Mk.5 hits the center Gecko with an E/M grenade.
With minimal AROs, Parvati flies forward, dodging shots on the way, getting Shakti up for the third time.
No orders left for Shakti to scan the HVT again
The Shukra runs around the corner (I wasn't sure he could could move along) and spots the HVT while saving from the Gecko's chain rifle

Access Clearance confirmed

Debrief

"Biometric scan is processing." The shukra reported, back to the wall while chain schrapnell rained over head.
"Aaaand...we have a match. Chief recovery officer Alfonso Costa. Full unfettered access. Total requisition approval. Access clear for all retinue.
"Of course they are..." Shakti told herself through gritted teeth, hand pressed into the fresh ballistic recovery foam solidifying in her side.
"This is Lieutenant Shakti to Corregidor command. I am requesting an imediate cease fire..."

8-2 Victory

"As a final clarification of my position, I believe it is a mistake to have an active OSS garrison at the Port Battery. Further unnecessary conflicts like this are bound to occur. I believe it would be most effect to focus on Steel Phalanx counter maneuvers exclusively against EI incursions. Garrison troops would be better deployed against JSA and Haqqislam interests in our held research facilities."
