We regret to inform Nomad high command that a number of Haq and Tunguska personnel were caught taking hallucinogens rather than assaulting the starboard rail gun as planned. In their delirious state, a number of facilities were damaged, luckily this all occurred on Ariadnian controlled zones and is, therefore, advantageous to Nomad interests.
Upon interrogation, it appears that both parties hallucinated that they were planetside. Information gleaned from survivors is following.
Interrogators note: How is it possible that Hollow men are able to hallucinate?!
It appears that the Nomad and Haq elements believed that they were fighting over a pier and that unless they activated certain AC units they would perish in a heatwave.
In reality it appears that the consoles they were fighting over were air filters for Raveneye's starboard modules.
While hallucinating, the Tunguska Zondnautica discovered a number of Hassassin fidays that had infiltrated their ranks. Luckily it was able to scare them into revealing themselves. It appears that they were attempting to assassinate the team's engineer. Eventually, both were discovered and dealt with at the cost of the zondmate, it was viewed as acceptable losses.
An additional mine was discovered placed in such a way to do maximum damage to the Hollow man team that was to be the spearhead of the force. One of the cheerkiller valiantly opted to disarm it via triggering it towards themselves before dodging away.
Free of the mine, the hollow man team was able to move forward freely. Eventually they were able to flank the minelayer who was quickly dispatched with a boarding shotgun.
The hassassins began their counter assault. An attached Farzan began to try to disable the boarding shotgun carrying Hollow Man. Unfortunately for them, and luckily for Tunguska, after seven attempts two Hollow man were merely rendered unconscious.
After his failure, the Farzan was barely able to get back to cover. On the way it was able to activate one of the AC units.
Rallying the remaining two Hollow men, Perseus was able to push forward and lay down smoke cover.
Using this, the engineer and their cheerkiller entourage were able to push forward to another one of the AC units. Once the units was activated, the engineer was able to safely maneuver into position to heal the unconscious Hollow men. With all downed units healed, the engineer was able to safely jump into cover.
A missile launcher Hollow man was also able to successfully make it to a useful vantage point over the battlefield.
The Hassassin forces attempted to fall back. The Farzan was able to move out of the line of sight of the missile launcher and successfully activate the last AC unit.
A sniper attempted to dislodge the rooftop hollowman, but was unable to do lasting damage before a lucky rocket disabled it.
Other Hassassin units were able to flee to the cooled zones successfully.
The rooftop bound Hollow man began bounding as high as he could in order to gain vision of the remaining forces. He was able to disable the vast majority of the troops with very little resistance.
With no real opposition left, the engineer was able move forward to destroy key infrastructure that the Hassassins held. A second Farzan was present, but was unable to intercept. One of the cheerkiller entourage bravely gave their life to make sure that he was incapacitated.
The remaining entourage and Perseus were then able to make it to the cooled zone.
tyty. Would have wanted more deployment zone terrain, but I only had whats visible there that day. Was trying to not use store terrain since 40k was using it all
