Lists and deployment

JSA army list.
Gaijin Nomad army list.
Table set up.

JSA wins the initiative roll and chooses deployment, while Corregidor takes the first turn.

A camo token (the Intruder) and the Kuroshi rider are kept in reserve, and deployed on opposite sides of the board: the Intruder behind the white building, while Kuroshi stands in total cover near the Rui-Shi.

JSA deployment.
Nomad deployment.

Corregidor First Turn

The nomad army conquers the center field with little difficulty, thus managing to extend their hacking area on all three consoles. A Camo slips between the buildings reaching an external console; the brave Tanko tries to discover him at the risk of his life, but reveals an Intruder killer hacker who ignores the opponent and slips out of sight. He activates a console and tries to kill the Japanese civilian, but the latter dodges with ninja-worthy agility. All this happens as the Corregidoran Fireteam core takes its first victim, a poor Rui Shi, thus gaining a good position for the lurking rocket launcher who is ready for the JSA's move.

JSA First Turn

The victims are few, and there’s only one problem to be solved to get to the consoles: the linked Wildcat that threatens the deployment of JSA.
While a Domaru reaches a position to face the rocket launcher, Yuriko Oda exposes herself just long enough to fire her panzerfaust, trying without success to remove the Wildcat. Nobody has fallen to the ground yet, so it's the right time to act with the Domaru who, holding his spitfire, opens fire; but a perfect shot from the opponent leaves only a few crumbs of him.
Kuroshi, protected by a smoke grenade, reaches the enemy, facing him with his combi rifle, but only manages to contest a few shots and with her last breath reaches the console and reveals one of the civilians of the Nomads. With a last heroic gesture, the raider takes away a koala that was protecting a civilian.

Things are not going well for JSA, already three pieces have fallen, two of them with heavy weapons.
One of the Kempei, by now in command, decides to reorganize the fireteam core by adding the engineer to their ranks, remaining in coherence they try to cover as much map as possible and defend their civilians. Kempei unloads its magazine on the Nomads' Rocket Launcher trying to avenge the fallen comrades, and it is a success: the enemy falls with no chance of recovery from the shock ammunition.
There is not much time, so Kempei decides that the best thing is to fire on the civilian who is eliminated.

Corregidor Second Turn

As if they were shooting stars on a summer night, the sky is filled with missiles and bullets that arrive from all sides from a series of coordinated orders, that lead after a stoic resistance two fallen Keisotzu Hacker and Kempei shock marksman rifle.

Corregidor's men, however, manage to access another console, revealing the Japanese designated target. After a desperate shot by the intruder, the civilian succumbs. An intrepid mobile brigada goes into suppressive fire.

JSA Second Turn

JSA kills the cowardly intruder holed up under a ladder. The Mobile Brigada with an incessant barrage of shots tries to dissuade the enemy from advancing, but they do not retreat, and at the cost of a death, the indomitable tanko, JSA kills the Corregidoran commander.

Corregidor Third Turn

Now in loss of lieutenant, the Nomads try to make the enemy withdraw without succeeding in the attempt.

JSA Third Turn

With their last resources, the Japanese army moves trying to reach the consoles and civilians that the Nomads are protecting. Kaizoku Yuriko Oda and the last of the Keisotsu, the paramedic, reach two consoles, but only the engineer succeeds in the feat by revealing a civilian. In the end, however, the opponents manage to save their infiltrated spy.

Aftermath

Despite fighting valiantly to the last man, the forces of JSA can't stop the cowardly Nomads from running away with their designated target.
However, the pride of the defenders of Genkidan Research Park remains unsullied, and the fallen shall be remembered as heroes.

RIP banana tanko.
