Durgama was no regular theatre of action for the Druze Security Bayram, but with the current call of the Haqqislam High Command, not only prosperous contracts in this region of Concilium Prima became available, but also promising rumors about secret research-labs and valuable information raised the interest. If not the available forces had mostly to be recruited of regional prospectors and mining crews, looking for new adventures and ways out of their actual miserable fates. But that are the resources given to DBS commander Harlan.

The forces had just entered the Xeno-Station as the first shots from a Nomad-force were fired and Crazy Coalas boosted through the streets. With all bad luck present, the first group to investigate the site just stumbled into a heavily equipped Nomad force, on their own search for valuable information.

The Nomads approached from the left, while the DBS-troops arrived on the left.

Behind a camouflaged troop in the center and a Moran in the north, two Moderators, a Clockmaker as well as Billy and Jazz are deployed in the backfield, shielded by a Morlock, a Gator-TAG and a motorized Bounty Hunter, yielding a multi sniper rifle in addition to his red fury. On a rooftop in the center, Armand LeMuet overwatches the action.
Since the north part of the deployment zone is already blocked by the infiltrating Moran, the core-team around th Brawlers and the Druze LGL and Hacker take positions in the south behind the haris-team around Wolfgang and the KHD Druze. To defend the north part, all REMs except the Peacemaker, supported by the Monstrucker, take that part.

A Puppetica Company is deployed with two Puppets in the north and the controller in the southern backfield. With one command token, a second Morand appears in the southern midfield.
This Moran is accompanied by the Auxbot and the Peacemaker outside of the central southern building.

Nomads 1: In the north, the Moran pushes forward, directly sabotaging a crate there and is followed by a Bandit, which repeatedly fails to retrieve information from the nearby HVT. Meanwhile the Gator warms up his gun on the Auxbot, then gunning down the Brawler MSR critically. After Jazz fries the Druze KHD, the motorized Bounty Hunter advances, wrecking the Peacemaker and gunning down Wolfgang in one action. Quickly switching guns, he dismantles the armour of the Digger in the core-team and inflicts critical damage.
DBS 1: With the haris down, the Digger in the south engages the motorized Bounty Hunter, but instead of reaching it, he gets a first wound from Armand. In the north one Nasmat clears the Coalas set up there, clearing the way for a Yuan Yuan, which runs out of gas too quickly and fails to engage the Moran in smoke. Sacrificing himself, the former haris-digger gets the biker in CC but also falls unconscious. The bad luck continious as the Bulleteer tries to engage the Gator and gets destroyed critically in the first try. Also the Hunzakut gets shot while gunning down the northern Moran.

Nomads 2: Before shots are fired, the Bandit finally spies on the HVT and Jazz takes a walk to kidnap a central-deployed HVT. Also in the center the Morlock digs himself in nearby the unconscious Digger and biker to bait out my remaining troops. In the north the Puppets advance, gunning down the Yuan Yuan but getting stunned by the Fugazi.

After three attempts, the information is finally retrieved.

DBS 2: Out of guns, the mission is from major importance now. Since most of the important ressources and targets for the objectives are placed in the south, the remaining core-team has to move forward into a position relatively safe from the Morlock, but in reach of everything in the last moments of action. At least some data could be scanned from the biker on the way. In th north the Monstrucker tries to deploy some breaks to the Puppets by throwing a drop bear infront of them.

A mine to stop them all.

Nomads 3: The Morlock is up to violence and engages the remaining core-team. While the Digger is no problem, he can't decide on which Druze to engage and gets shot by th hacker while knocking out the LGL. Unaffected by this, the Gator drops the Fugazi and after the Bandit tricks the Monstrucker and scans the fabrication-data from my REMs, engages the Monstrucker in CC. A hasty fired chain rifle before damages the EVO that badly that it stops working.

Too many options often end up deadly.

DBS 3: Due to the improvided force, I end up in a retreat-situation. Nevertheless the limiting capability is the phisical constitution of the remaining Druze hacker, not strong enough to pick up the Digger in front of him. While he calculates the smartes way to get his hands on a central HVT, Jazz fries his neurons via a silently advancing Moran on the building next to him.

With this, the game ends 9-1 for Nomads. Eventhough the dice were completely not in my favour, it feld that I was just one bad action behind during the game, not completely lost. Thanks to Tzwenne for this great but again traumatizing game!
