Blitchga, A decorated war hero and a commander of the Aleph forces in Wotan. A veteran of Flamestrike and a quick advancement through the ranks put this bright young officer much higher up in the Aleph ranks by the time Wotan went hot. However, after several events shaming and leaving Blitchga a laughing stock to many he left the Aleph forces to wander the universe to find purpose. He had become infamous for his actions and could no longer stay with his former brothers in arms. Mother Aleph was angry, he needed redemption, clarity, purpose, a new order. Stumbling upon an expeditionary force of the Shasvastii he was intrigued. He walked calmly into their camp and requested an audience with their leader Vlash. Blitchga saw the light and believed that the Evolved Intelligence was to be the saving grace of humanity and that mother Aleph was a ruse. He began training with the Caliban Destruction forces as well as the Mentors counter intelligence network. He now operates as a ghost operative, doing anything within his power in order to take the fight to his former master, Mother Aleph in an attempt to spread the light of the Evolved Intelligence to his former brothers in arms.

…eventually Blitchga had enough, why was he fighting for a human sphere that hated him? That accused him of lies. He had enough, he said goodbye to Asthaa and left. He wandered for some time, searching for something. Something he would find, and find soon.

Blitchga advanced forward to the temple ruin alongside Friyat, walking deeper into the Darpan Xenostation from their advanced base of operations in the Data Library. While they were getting into a forward position their comms crackled to life with a whisper so subtle it was hardly audible.

“They have a MARUT! I repeat there is a Marut on the field. I will see if I can open a whole for you to infiltrate the facility. Sharlij out.”

Blitchga looked at Friyat and they shared a moment of silent agreement, Sharlij needed help and soon.

“Go, I will cover you Blitchga.” Friyat said

Just as Blitchga advanced over the tree towards the tool depot that was crawling with Dakini he could hear them open up at something in front of them. Clearly Sharlij had been discovered, hopefully she managed to disable that Marut.

Keeping his footsteps as quiet as possible Blitchga picked up the pace. He got close before the Dakini and Pavarti were able to pick up his presence, not quite within sword reach, but certainly within reach of his SMG. He raised and continued his advance, dropping one of the Dakini HMG bots while pressuring Pavarti. Constantly advancing it was only a matter of time before he was on top of Pavarti, he tossed one of his packs of D-charges landing them directly onto her wings as she turned to flee. There was nothing left when the dust settled. (OOC We totally forgot to leave the model because we weren’t used to a 2 wound doc/engineer with 2 states of unconsciousness!)

Out of the corner of his eye Blitchga could see movement on top of the tool shed. He turned just in time to see Vlash let out a couple bursts from his Marksman rifle, disabling the Dakini HMG bot.

Blitchga tapped his comm piece, “I don’t usually see you get into the fight like that” Blitchga joked.

Vlash responded, “Well I could see that you were advancing hard, someone had to cover your reckless back, I can see that you are evolving, you got much closer this time before being discovered. You will evolve yet Blitchga. Always evolve Blitchga.”

Blitchga didn’t have any time to respond as he was ripped back into the reality of battle. The Marut came dancing back from the Research vehicle garage and turned the ground around him to ash. Blitchga fell back but with each step a new burst of flame appeared. That flame was getting close, too close. He needed a plan and fast. He used the next flame burst to dodge around the tool shed and out of sight. Hoping the Marut would fall for the trap he readied himself to spring on top of her should she chase him round the corner.

Suddenly another burst of flame came spewing forward as the Marut rounded the corner. Blitchga rolled low, effortlessly closing the distance. He pulled another set of D-charges and threw up into the Marut as he continued his roll right underneath the beast. Rolling to a stand he swirled his head and then body towards the Marut who was now behind him. The Marut moved to turn and Blitchga drew his sword pinning one last set of D-charges onto the Marut before diving for cover from the ensuing explosion.

Blitchga walked back towards the entrance of the facility,smoke and soot charred his face. Sweat stung his eyes, or was that the soot, probably both he thought as Vlash walked across the road to greet him.

“You are evolving Blitchga!”

WoW! Blitchga ran through the enemy like I was not expecting. The more I use Caliban the more I love them! I think that that model surprised my opponent and myself equally. It wasn’t even a game with him.

I got the objectives on the last turn before my opponent got the third second turn and then had to try to fight or dodge away from the Caliban. The other Caliban moved forward and got HVT retro-engineering and Extreme prejudice. The Caliban then dropped in and got HVT Espionage. Finally the Caliban that ran through the army got the second kill for Predatory when he dropped the Marut.
