Durgama Takeover

4th day of the Durgama events,
Somewhere in the deep parts of the Cameliard installation:
"General ThananRollice, I'd like an explanation.
- About what, Commander?
- The last assignment I received, signed by you, was asking me to guard the only part of the guard post that is very unlikely to go underattack. The defence to get there can only be disabled by you and even an entire TAG squadron couldn't go through there. And to add some more fun to it, we guard it with peacekeeping ammo. So, why am I affected to guard the Armory Z-00 while the rest of the guard post is burning from fights with those yujingese pigs?
- It's classified, even to you! But you better do your job well there, you and your team! If I hear you got your ass kicked, you can rest assured you'll regret it!
- Roger, Sir! I'll get to it immediately!
- You goddamn better do! I'm not in the mood for patience, right now!"

30 minutes later, Cameliard guard post barraks:
"Ok, ladies and gentlemen, I've checked it up and those orders are real. We got to defend the weapon deposit the best guarded in the whole installation, so don't be complacent. There is something fishy in this mission! I've raised the bonus of our two mercenaries so they give their best. I don't want them to mess up right now.
- I got the codes to get open the armory and the panoplies there, just in case, said Hawkins
- Nice! That's what I what I want to see: don't stop thinking ahead! Now, let's go!

"Commander, why the Hell is there a freacking cargo ship in this Armory? asked Lieutnant Kileko
- As if I knew! And even if I knew, those kind of intel would be classified, so stop to think about it!"
Just as Ayadan finished is sentence, the intrusion alarm got loud.
"Shit! We've got trespassers! Get them out of here! There is no way they were lost in there!
- Alright, Sir! You heard it, lads? Let's move up! Richards, you're with me with our three Security experts. The pussies stay on the back with the crawlers. Hawkins, take your buddies and go next the armory, you're the best to take control of this. You mercenaries cover the left flank! Go, go, go!"

"Lieutenant, I'm not sure your fireteam is finely placed... they have you pinned down with missile launchers.
- Rest assured, I know what I'm doing!
- We'll see this.
- The hell with your little chat, I'm going in!"
And as the hired monk master charged in, the only thought that went through Ayadan and Kileko's heads was: "The fu.k?"
"Ok, stop right there, let us open the path before! Hawkins, it's your time"

Hawkins and his two Fusiliers went to the Armory doors and:

SLAP!!!
Was the sound of the hand of Ayadan against his head. "I'm going to hang them up by their entrails..."
Hawkins didn't let this stop him. While keeping his Fusiliers in a safe position, he got the Longarm in his line of fire and shot.

"Ok, time to move! said Kileko"
The WinterFor Alpha Fireteam jumped forward cautiously, so they got through the vigilance of the Kappa and the Kytta. Without any need to communicate more, the Varg with the HRL took aim to the Kytta and shot three rockets as he got hit by the flash pulse. As the protection prevented him to get temporary blinded, the three rockets only scratched the Kappa who got out of the explosion zone while the Kytta stayed unscattered.
"I'll show you how it's done! said Kileko, two seconds before destroying the head of the Starmada remote
- They're starting to want to make a move, everyone get back to safety. ordered Ayadan
- Roger, answered Kileko
- To Hell with your pussy behaviour, I'll show you how to do it!"
And the Monk charged in, dodged the E/M mine in his way and just got knocked down by two peacekeeping missiles.
"They're loaded with the same ammos as us! What's going on here!
- I don't know Commander but we're ready for them!"

Ayadan saw the Epsilon going through the ennemy deployment zone, downing a Fugazi on the way. Then the Nyoka with the HRL ran on the crates and aimed at Richard.
"Oh fuck! he said"
While giving a kick to put away Kileko from him he got hit by one of the rockets the Nyoka shot.

The Varg managed to dodge the explosion, gods know hom. Kileko got burnt in her armor but the life support system kept her conscious and Richards just got his paint on his armor from white-and-blue to black.
"Kileko, move, I need to get the hell out of her sight!"
And the three just got a little more cramped behind their cover.

The lone Raveneye officer then went forward and opened the Armory.
"Why? How did he managed to open it? complained Hawkins
- Maybe he got his access codes 20 minutes ago from our IT support? suggested Ayadan"
The Raveneye didn't tried to put a foot in the room. He just slipped an E/M mine in there and retreated near there.
Then, the Santiago knight got out of his cover. Ayadan dreaded this moment. He fought with them for more than one year, he knew too well what they were made of and that this one could wreak havoc among the WinterFor team.
And the knight would be happy to oblidge. After a little run, he got one of his E/M grenade in his hand, aimed for Hawkins and:

And with this, Hawkins was trapped in his freezed armor. The knight then tried to get into the room and got to wound Richards. He then tried to get an angle on the Minelayer Varg but couldn't go it safely, so he prefered to get a second chance on Richards while also chalenging the Beasthunter but nothing happened from this. As fatigue started to be felt, he retreated in the Armory.

"Ok, I'm getting pissed of this shit! Let's send them a message ! Richards, you're still with us! shouted Kileko while she rejoigned the two Vargar placed forward." Richards then took aim at the Nyoka.

"Nice! Now, it's my turn"

"Don't let them catch their breath! Keep on the pressure! Get this knight out!"

"Excellent! Now, Richards, you get this Raveneye officer to sleep as well. Once this is done, I want our little Sensor guy to get rid of this E/M mine and replace it with a WildParrot while we take defensive positions". And so is what happened.
The Machinist then moved on the left flank while his Palbot reached Hawkins and he successfully patched up the armor of the Hospitaller.

Hawkins then used the little time left to hide in the Armory.
"Our Father-Officer is still able to move if he is getting a little help, Hawkins said
- Get him to sleep a little deeper.
- Yes, Sir!"

As the WinterFor squad needed a break, the Starmada force was now ready to strike again. The Varangian throwed a well aimed long throw with his smoke grenade, giving a possibility to the Epsilon to get out of his cover. The Epsilon then destroyed the WildParrot and tried to find an angle to get a good shot at the Varg Sensor. But with Hawkins ready to jump on him and the mines set by the Beasthunter, there was no good way to do it. As the confusion started to get the better of the armed negociator, he reached the Beasthunter at flamethrower range, got surprised by this uncalculated event and got hit. He felt on the ground, out of combat.

SWF got its breath back and Kileko wanted to finish this. But the Varangian made it difficult. While the Vargar got in the room, Richards and Hawkins never got the possibility to get the Ariadnan mercenary down. What was believed to be a second Longarm was in fact a Tian Gou who tried to jam Hawkins. Fortunately, the antenna wasn't set in the good direction and the E/M wave missed.
"Ok, time to show how to do this again! said Kileko"
Without waiting her team, she rushed at the Varangian and managed to incapacitate him, but not enough to get him out of the fight and, thanks to his strong body, didn't give on the peacekeeping ammo effects immediately.
Kileko wanted to clear the Tian Gou out of the way of the Varg HRL, so she teamed up again with the two other Vargar and tried to get the Tian Gou out.

"You damn imbecile! Watch your surroundings! You'll get us killed with this kind of trick! shouted Hawkins
- Oups! said Kileko as she retreated and took down the Tian Gou. Ok, now the HRL shot is free."
The rockets traveled from the left of the armory to the right of the room and got the last Raveneye officer and the Kappa Hacker out of combat.
The Varg forward observer then retreated in the room and tried to unlock one panoply.
"Access... denied
- Wait! How are we going to get something out of this if we can't open it ?
- Ask the Starmada guys about it, they seem to have the codes we need. And maybe they have accreditations we don't too...
- I'm going to try something dumb, it might work, interrupted Hawkins
- Access... denied
- Strange, this works most of the time...
- What did you try? asked Ayadan
- 1234, replied Hawkins
- Wow, you really should rejoin our IT support team, Hawkins... now get in position. Beasthunter, we need one more guy out to force them to retreat. If you could do this to us...
- On it, Sir"

After two attempts, the Psi-Cop started to move while the Varangian gave out to the peacekeeping ammo effects. Thanks to his KHD, the Psi-Cop managed to slip in range to get the Beasthunter down while Kileko missed him.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
Some applause could be heard in the communication feeds of the SWF squad and in Ayadan commanding room.
"Cease fire, everyone! This is Cuervo Goldstein speaking! Commander Anderson, your team has lost this test to Commander Ayadan's squad. Please, retrieve your unconscious soldiers while I debrief shortly Commander Ayadan."

"Well, Commander, let me inform you that you were selected by General ThananRollice to participate to this test to demonstrate PanOceania's troopes ability to protect Cameliard. Some recent events ended up to have some reserves about it. I'm glad to see that this was unjustified. Keep up your good work, Commander, we'll need soldiers like you and your squad more than ever in the future. And convey my congratulations to your team, they fought well. I wish I could say the same to our own guys but Commander Anderson will have to think deeper on how to get better results out of his soldiers. Cuervo, out."
And with this, without even getting a moment to speak, Ayadan was left with a silent communication feed.
Until Kileko raised her voice, once again: "Hey! Commander! Do you know the Hell happened here? Was it really Cuervo Goldstein on the radio? Like THE Cuervo Goldstein?
- Yes, Kileko. Get your fellow back to the barracks, we'll need a long debriefing meeting.
- Roger, Sir! Let's see you there!"
