Ariadna’s Kosmoflot launched an attack on the Raveneye’s comms section, a detachment of Military Orders were tasked in defending against this attacking force.

The Kosmoflot struck first, advancing onto the comms room. The Military Orders took up a more defensive positioning to hold the attackers at bay, but the Chernobog’s initial strike hit harder than predicted. With the Teutonic Knights taking the fist salvo of rockets, yet they countered with missiles. The Chernobog’s rockets hit and incapacitated the knight carrying the missile launcher. The second wave of rockets, the Teutonic Knight who was wounded, yet could still react fired off the Panzerfaust which managed to hit, but not enough to knock down the machine. As this exchange of missiles and rockets partook a fireteam from the Kosmoflots advanced. Yet the one Trinitarian’s minelaying took out the leader as she entered into effective range. Yet the fireteam continued to advance forward. In response to this, the hidden Trinitarian attempted to place another mine by the console in an effort to slow the pace of the Kosmolfot’s advance into the comma room. The mine was laid, yet in the process he was discovered and hence a rain of bullets descended on him, which unfortunately hit and rendered him K.I.A. Which then the Kismoflot had a safe zone to activate the console.

With these exchanges of combat, the secondary Trinitarian advanced up towards the console on the other side of the room, tapping into it. Hidden enough, she successfully found out which tech coffin had the rogue A.I. And as an attempt to make the path of travel safer for those in the backline to be able to advance, took out the Chernobog, causing it to stumble and break down, unable to partake in combat any longer. As the Trinitarian performed these actions, a Knight of Santiago and a K.O.J. advanced forward in the opening that was provided.

This was the point at which the Kosmoflot upped their assault, sending the Varangians up the field and creating smoke screens to cover their advance. With the Military Orders backline unable to see the targets they bolstered their defensive positions, yet all the knights had advanced forward. A Varangian charged the K.O.J., who had been hit by an adhesive launcher, and due to the glue was unable to fight back at optimal levels, resulting in him being incapacitated. The Kosmoflot paratroopers dropped in and took out a Crosier that was the main ARO for the backline, which then prompted an easy access to the console.

Though the backline fell and was unable to defend against the rush of the Kosmoflot, the Trinitarian had made it to the rogue A.I. and managed to destroy it. Our Military Order’s rogue A.I. may have been destroyed but we managed to destroy the opposition’s too.

This battle might have ended in failure, but the war still goes on.
