o Ariadna went first
Moved forward and positioned to setup fire lanes
Wallace Core Fireteam moved up the steps to own that quadrant and try and keep my Nomads from getting too aggressive
The Cameronian on the left moved up along with that S.A.S to start pushing for the Quadrant on my side
No real combat, just posturing
o Nomads
Jaguars start to pull around into the middle and dropping smoke to cover the rest of the teams advances from the Mormaers
Geckos start their way up the stairs and get a couple pop shots along the way dropping a Highlander
Uxia shows up and dodges into my Gecko to tie them up from walking down Wallace and his friends. Fireteam is broken.
Jazz spotlights Uxia and uses this offset a terrible situation into just a bad one. Jazz hits and takes out Uxia and the Gecko shrugs off the shots that didn’t find the infiltrator
Jazz throws out a pitcher behind the planter on top of the platform and the fireteam is reformed
In all the action on the right and trying to gain control of my side’s quadrants, I forget to stand up the Reaktion Zond
o Ariadna
Cameronian joins the party against the Geckos taking some hits on the way into them. After some back and forth, the Cameronian goes down but the paramedic brings him back up. He goes down again, but the Geckos go with him.
Wallace and the gang move up and huddle behind the REM garage. Wallace gets Spot lit by Jazz in the process and the crew moves back to get cover from the stairs while watching the ones across from them.
One Volunteer breaks off to engage the Jaguars in the middle of the table. They managed to take one, but the other stays standing to gets them with an ARO shotgun template.
On the left side of the table the remaining Cameronian moves up into quadrant, but my Sombra and Zond manage to keep it dominated
o Nomads
The Vertigo Zond makes use of Jazz’s spotlight on Wallace and drops in a missile from the backrow taking him out, the Lieutenant, out.
Jazz decides to clean up a little more and Spotlights the Volunteers on the top steps and takes out 2/3 of them.
The Clockmaker manages to get a Gizmokit on one of the Geckos and brings it back into the game
The Alguacils move up, aided by another smoke grenade from the last Jaguar, blocking the Mormaer LOF, and they secure enemy’s right-side quadrant, feeling sufficiently spread out. They were in fact not sufficiently spread out.
Round ends with me in control of 3 quadrants.
o Ariadna
The last Volunteer makes a stand and shotgun blasts the Alguacil Fireteam, getting 3 out of 4 of them in the template. One dodges, another one armor saves and the last one dies which turned out to be my Lieutenant.
The S.A.S Forward Observer wakes up and tries to make a play for a quadrant. AROs keep missing him, but Jazz gets her spotlight on him.
o Nomads
Needing to take back the quadrant to tie us at 2 each and giving me the win, the Vertigo Zond steps up to use its only order it can and drops a missile on the spotlighted S.A.S Forward Observer. The strike hits and they do not make their armor saves. With them down I take back the quadrant and I don’t have a way to control a third. I call my turn done and win, 2-1.
**Notes, the game was played on Tuesday, so the details are fuzzy now. We each scored our objectives.**
